Bob Feal-Martinez: The Ostrich Approach.

There are people who persistently refuse to discuss or witness anything that is unpalatable. They contend that it is much better to look at UKIP through rose-tinted spectacles rather than concern themselves with the sordid dishonesty of Nigel Farage, Paul Nuttall and the NEC.

Bob Feal-Martinez, chairman of UKIP Swindon, is such a man.

Bob actually believes that in adopting such an attitude he is exhibiting some form of mental superiority over those who feel that Farage is leading UKIP to disaster. Smugly and complacently he shuts his eyes to anything that is repellent or offensive, affecting to believe that it does not exist. Bob holds the view that ignorance of tyranny excuses his support of tyranny. He hates those who tell the truth because he does not want to know the truth. Bob is blind to the fact that the tyrant feeds on his tyranny. Before long Bob will be consumed when he has served his purpose.

Farage and Nuttall regard Bob as “a useful idiot” - their own words - who can be trusted to promote the Farage line. However, Bob’s latest postings on the British Democracy Forum have left both of them feeling rather annoyed. With each post Bob digs himself into a bigger hole. He seems strangely oblivious to the fact that he is making a fool of himself.

Bob, if only you knew what Nigel and Paul are now saying about you in Brussels!

UKIP Eastern Region membership continues to fall.

Peter Reeve has done a fantastic job since he was appointed Regional Organiser in March 2007.

In March of that year membership stood at 2010. By September 9th 2008 the membership had dropped to 1689. That’s an average loss of 17 - 18 members every month.

Keep up the good work Peter! A few more years and UKIP East will be reduced to you, David Bannerman, Mike McGough, and that stray dog that lives under your shed.

Nigel Farage:EU Reformist?

Nigel has been making some strange noises lately and not just in the watering holes of Brussels!

At a SOS Democracy lunch in September - hosted by Mr Dan Hannan - Farage attacked the ‘Anti Maastricht Alliance’ claiming that were only fit for last year’s wars. He then suggested that ‘ a new approach’ to the EU was needed. It now seems that Nigel is very keen on the idea that the EU can somehow be reformed from within. Our dear Marta is especially fond of the nonsense. One can only speculate why Nigel is so keen to embrace her views. At a recent NEC meeting she was questioned about her reformist views. Nigel quickly steeped in and whispered to her not to reply. What is he so afraid of?

Dear fellow UKIP members, Nigel is leading you down the garden path. He is not interested in Britain quitting the EU. He simply wants to stay on the Gravy Train for another five years. He would even be prepared to jump ship if it suited his purpose. He has no loyalty to the Country. He certainly has no loyalty to UKIP or the members. Dump him or watch UKIP wither and die.

Bob Spink: UKIP Eastern Region MEP in 2009?

If I were Mr Bannerman and Mr Agnew I would not get too complacent about their slots in the East. Nigel Farage has promised the top slot to Bob Spink if he wants it.

Bob has confirmed his interest. Bob knows he will probably lose his Castle Point seat to the Tories in 2010. He has already admitted that he can’t rely on his personal vote to keep the seat. Although he would much rather be an MP he is willing to give the Euro elections a try. If he campaigns and loses he can stay on as an MP but if he wins he can resign his Westminster seat and enjoy another five years in Brussels. Watch this space.

Nigel Farage & why Martin Haslam had to go.

Nigel’s master stoke at the last UKIP NEC meeting was pure genius. He allows Buster Mottram to propose the BNP deal and then uses it as a smokescreen to remove David Abbott, Eric Edmond and Martin Haslam from the NEC. Of course, Martin’s card was marked from the day he started to question our beloved leader. First of all he advised Nigel that all MEP’s expenditure should be scrutinised . Next he suggested an independent inspection of the Ind Dem Group’s accounts. BIG MISTAKE. The last thing Nigel needs is openness and transparency. Nigel keeps such a tight rein on Ind Dem money that even his fellow MEPs don’t have a clue where it ends up. An audit would have revealed some very interesting payments. For instance, why are you paying X when she is no longer a member of UKIP? Why are you paying Y when you sacked him for playing truant? Nigel knew that Martin had to go. He then approached the pro-EU ‘Independent’ and ‘arranged’ for a reporter to phone Haslam. Martin was caught entirely unawares but being honest repeated what he had said to Nigel. Nigel was then informed that the ‘sting’ had been successful.

Question: Why is the leader of an anti-EU party going to a pro-EU newspaper in order to ‘entrap’ a fellow party member?

At the now infamous NEC meeting Nigel revealed that he approached the Independent in order to ‘test Martin’s loyalty’. By speaking to the paper Martin had betrayed the leader and so must pay for his folly. The nodding donkeys agreed and voted to remove him. I seem to recall Hitler using the same tactic in 1945. That’s the thanks you get for paying Marta’s wages (the first three months) and donating thousands to the party.

Nigel, you make Al Capone look positively human!

Let's get drunk for UKIP says Peter Reeve

I knew that things were going badly for Peter Reeve, David Bannerman and UKIP East but this one takes the biscuit:

Peter Reeve

End of Email

So dear old Peter R is now advising UKIPPERS to drown their sorrows over several glasses of beer and several packets of salt and vinegar crisps. I can well understand his need to advise UKIPPERS to become alcoholics. With David Bannerman as your lead candidate can you really blame them? Imagine the terrifying sight of an inebriated Peter Reeve and an even more intoxicated David Bannerman turning up on your doorstep and asking you to “vote for us… hic… and we will ….hic…be your bestest pals in the whole wide world”. But it could get much worse! Imagine Nigel Farage, Annabelle Fuller, Andrew Smith, Mike McGough and Stuart Gulleford accosting you in a Norfolk street and insisting that they sing to you the full x-rated version of “These UKIP Boots are made for Walking”!

Paul Wiffen writes to UKIP's NEC

UKIP London is now in dire straits. Moral is low thanks to Farage‘s dishonesty and incompetence. Nigel has put a block on Gerard Batten getting any decent publicity on UKIP’s website and is still pushing to get him removed before the final MEP lists are published in April. Gerard has already been threatened with deselection by the previous party chairman after he complained about the selection process and Ralph Atkinson‘s dirty tricks campaign.

As you can imagine the Paul Wiffen, Chairman of the London Regional Committee, is far from pleased with current events. He has now written to the NEC demanding a guarantee that Gerard will not be removed as the lead London candidate. If the NEC refuses to give such an assurance they will face open revolt in London. Paul has also made it clear that a promised £10,000 donation to UKIP will only be made if the donor is assured by the NEC that Gerard remains top of the London list.

The gloves are now off. What will Nigel do? He needs the money but, on the other hand, he does not want Batten as an MEP after June 2009. He is determined to have Zuckerman as the lead candidate or should I say lead nodding donkey. The NEC has until December to make a decision. Oh dear! Watch this space!
