UKIP leadership election: Daniel Baldwin

I note that Daniel Baldwin has thrown his hat into the ring. He is 30 years old and joined UKIP a year ago after becoming thoroughly disillusioned with Labour.

He intends to listen to the concerns of members, Farage and the NEC - thereby showing himself to be a consensus leader.

Daniel does not see severe cerebral palsy as an obstacle to his political ambitions.

I will post more information as I get it - his announcement on the UKIP members forum being rather brief.

  1. Hi,

I understand this ambitious young man has not as yet found either a proposer or a seconder and has yet to obtain 50 assentors - one can reasonably ask by what justification beyond personal ambition this bid is made for this particular non job as errand boy for Farage!

Watch Farage's speech on humility and gratitude (part III Conference speech) Farage lists every leadership duty and states how good he is at it save only the title it seems, which would put him in the firing line of Court outcomes.

Perhaps Farage has placed young Daniel in the firing line in the hope that the meeeja would be deflected from the truth by the distraction of disability.

Sadly such a level of duplicity would not be beneath the honour of EUkip's leadership as it has shown itself to be without honour.

    Regards,
    Greg L-W.
