During Sunday’s Westminster Hour it was stated that Nigel Farage had spent the entire summer campaigning in Ireland against the Lisbon Treaty.

So is this claim true?
Sadly the answer is no. Calls to the Irish ‘No’ campaign team quickly established that Farage was lying. Indeed, a member of Anthony Coughlan’s staff has confirmed that Farage had not been seen in Ireland all summer!
She went on to explain that if Farage had been campaigning in Ireland they would have been aware of it.
So once again Farage is exposed as a liar. But should we be so surprised?
Farage has been lying to us for years. So why changed now?
