UKIP: Nigel Farage's Fuhrer complex

If Napoleon and Hitler had possessed video technology we doubt that even they would have had the arrogance to put this out .........

And don't be too impressed by quality of the video. UKIP did not make it. They paid a company to put Farage's photo on a pre-existing video.

It is interesting to note that the title of the video is 'A Hero for Europe'. Nice to see Nigel promoting his pan-European credentials!

  1. Not related to this post but you might be interested to know that at least 19 of the UKIP branches listed on the national website don't actually exist, at best they are actually one man and not even his dog!

They also list Trafford Branch and an Urmston Branch. Urmston is in Trafford.

They list a Morecambe Branch and a North West Lancashire Branch. Morecambe is in North West Lancashire. And so it goes on.

A quick check with ElComm shows the few branches actually registered in the North West. I'm unsure if this deceit is being enacted elsewhere.

  2. UKIP did not pay a company to upload a picture of Nigel. There are websites where you can upload your own for free.

  3. PS-Further to my comment yesterday about ghost branches in the North West there is also listed a Westmorland and Furness Branch, as well as a Barrow Branch and an Ulverston Branch. Both towns make up the larger part of Furness.

I would say there are no more than a handful of active branches in the North West.
