UKIP: Monckton madness!

The UKIP party website now carries links to a number of blogs, including that of Lord Monckton:

Interestingly, the blog itself claims to have no connection with Monckton, which is a bit strange, but then so is he!

The blog endorses an old speech made by Charlie Chaplin (which is about the right level for UKIP politics at the present time) saying that the speech "is as powerful now as it could have ever been".

This speech, strongly socialistic in content, calls for "an end to national barriers".

Is this yet another departure from UKIP's traditional policy, or just another example of Monckton's total detachment from reality?
