UKIP threatens to sue Sunday Times. Peter Reeve makes an ass of himself in the Hunts Post

When will they EVER learn?

Peter Reeve - who is at the centre of the Agnew/Bannerman illegal payments scandal - seems determined to make an ass of himself.

In the Hunts Post he claimed that:

“I have a number of different roles in my life and I am meticulous about keeping everything separate. I am a district councillor and I work as a constituency representative for two MEPs. I am very transparent about everything I do.”

UKIP also confirmed to the newspaper that “We are considering legal action against The Sunday Times”.

So would Mr Reeve care to explain why Stuart Agnew admits on CAMERA that he is breaking the law?

“I can tell you that Peter is paid partly by me out of my assistance allowance here partly by David Bannerman. He does very little work for us, virtually none. He is working for the party. And that’s strictly illegal.”

Is Mr Reeve suggesting that the video was faked? Or is he suggesting that Agnew was lying?

And could someone please tell UKIP that you can’t sue someone or a paper for telling the truth.

It is interesting to note that Reeve has been trying to give the voters of Ramsey the false impression that his family are struggling to manage on his allowances as a councillor.

For some strange reason he neglected to tell them that he receives £50,000 a year via the EU.

He also forgot to mention that his partner is the paid Director of UKIP. Their combined salaries are around £100,000.

But at least the voters know all about it now! Indeed, some are rather surprised to discover that Mr Anti-EU Reeve is more than happy to become a very rich man thanks to the very thing that he claims to hate!

Reeve, Agnew, Farage, Pearson and Bannerman are now the subject of several complaints to OLAF and ELCOM.

Reeve is also the subject of complaints to the local council's Standards Committee.

He is also a school governor in Ramsey. We suggest that he resign. We would hate to see the school becoming tainted by association.

At the very least the EU will make UKIP pay back the cost of Peter Reeve's salary and, since it is so flagrant, we would be surprised if there isn't some punitive action taken as well.
