And so the UKIP conference is over. The Farage spin machine claimed over 800 attended. Indeed, they said that the 'Conference drew record numbers'. Actually, the real figure was just over 400. How can you possibly trust a party that can't even be honest about how many members bothered to attend?
The event was largely ignored by the media. The BBC did cover it but were more interested in highlighting the various splits in the party and the fact that Marta Andreasen had called on Farage to stand down as leader.
One stall is fronted by Marta Andreasen - a sitting UKIP MEP - who has called for the leader Nigel Farage to resign.
Another promotes the cause of Nikki Sinclaire, who was elected as a UKIP member but now sits as an independent in the European Parliament.
She claims Farage has fallen out with half of the MEPs in the party's history, adding: "We can't all be wrong."
Then there is UKIP's founder Alan Sked, who wrote to the The Times to say: "UKIP has been fooling its voters and members for far too long. Its third-rate leaders, propagandists and MEPs all need to be sacked and the party re-established." See: LINK
And how can you take UKIP's leadership seriously when they invite Neil 'Cash for Questions' Hamilton to be one of the 'star' speakers? And it's no surprise that he wants to join Nigel on the EU Gravy Train as an MEP!
UKIP's leadership also invited representatives of extremist/pan-European parties such as the leader of the True Finns. This is the same party that thinks ethnically Finnish women should study less and spend more time having babies. And let us not forget that in April 2009, all the leaders of Finland's political parties signed a declaration condemning racism. Only Soini refused to sign. The party also believes homosexuality to be an "aberration". That UKIP is happy to invite such people to their conference clearly proves that the party is now firmly on the extreme right of British politics. Indeed, one senior member of UKIP has said to one of our contacts that 'we intend to capture the BNP vote'.
A UKIP spokesman pathetically tried to defend the presence of extremists by highlighting their so-called 'Euroscepticism'. She said the invitation was not an endorsement of their entire policy programme, adding: "We wouldn't seek to tell other political parties how to run their domestic affairs."
It's a good job UKIP wasn't around in the 30's. No doubt members of the Nazi Party would have received an invitation on the basis that Hitler wished to see Britain and her empire remain aloof from European issues!
One attendee told a member of the Junius Team:
The same speeches, the same faces and the same old soundbites from Nigel. Nothing changes. Why did I bother?
Nuff said!
However, we are pleased to note that Nikki Sinclaire attended the conference and was warmly welcomed by the majority of the membership. Many UKIPPERS congratulated her on the success of her referendum petition. Farage's attempts to smear her in the eyes of the membership have failed!

If you believe (as you state) that "[UKIP] is now firmly on the extreme right of British politics" why do you remain members? Are you supporters of the 'extreme right'?
Perhaps Junius can help with a worry I had when I read the UKIP conference itinerary on Stephen Allisons blog.
At 12:45 on Saturday there was a fringe event with the title "Christian Soldiers in UKIP".
I had a horrible feeling that this event was one of those which would further damage the lasting image of UKIP as I do not believe this would have been aimed at highlighting the great work serving soldiers with a Christian faith do within the party.
I do hope that I am wrong about this, but reading your recent posts I am inclined to think that this was aimed at trying to gather support from extreme groups such as the EDL who I class as being less Christian than the Muslim Britons they hate so much.
Hi,
the contributors to Junius may well remain as members in the belief that they can clean-up UKIP from within or perhaps to continue to sustain their income as UKIP staff or even being in elected office seeking to try to ensure that the party is at some time electable and can expect rather less than 93% of the electorate to vote against UKIP at a time when only 30% would vote to remain in The EU.
I seek to bring the truth as an independent supporter of the desire to Leave-The-EU and to that end believe that UKIP has sadly, in its failure and corruption, become more a part of the problem than a part of the solution.
Particularly as their group policy is extreme racism and pro EU Membership aiming to perform the impossible fantasy of 'reform'.
I am not interested in membership of a Reformed EU, be it appealing to the extremist UKIP or not.

Hi,
shanerobertmoore highlights some of the foolish antics of UKIP with its obscene Zionist stance and as so often those who feel a need to loudly pronounce their claims of being so called Christians all too often behave in the most vile manner emulating the Taliban with their intent to force their rather foolish bronze age superstitions and the inventions of gods on those who have seen through the entire rather silly scam.

Sorry Gregg I don't buy it.
You are saying that Junius and its supporters don't believe the EU can be reformed but do believe UKIP needs reform and can be reformed?
No - if they really wanted UK out of the EU and thought UKIP were in the way they would treat UKIP as they treat (say) the conservative, labour or lib dem parties - just ignore them and get on with getting the UK out of the EU...
No - they cling to UKIP for another reason - which can only be to damage it against liblabcon - otherwise liblabcon would be in their sights too...
Where are the articles on how liblabcon have damaged the UK by supporting EU membership? I don't see them here.
Is it petty jealousy, vanity, hurt pride? I don't know but Junius only has one purpose - to attack UKIP - and to do so because it has simply chosen to.

Hi,
its Greg - to avoid confussion with Gregg Beaman ;-)
You are saying that Junius and its supporters don't believe the EU can be reformed but do believe UKIP needs reform and can be reformed?
So I understand having spoken with them over several ye4ars fairly regularly.
It is a point of view, which having read the history, background and treaties of what is now called The EU is true.
UKIP can easily be reformed firstly by finding a competent leader, then getting rid of the liars and low lifes, fantasists and fools such as Mick McGough, Douglas Denny, and the rest of The NEC and the corrupt and parasitic leadership team and staff.
Obviously the EU is structured to prevent change and is not founded on democracy in any real terms - UKIP however is currently unfit for purpose and stands no chance of delivering on the Leave-The-EU agenda as it is currently structured.
No - if they really wanted UK out of the EU and thought UKIP were in the way they would treat UKIP as they treat (say) the conservative, labour or lib dem parties - just ignore them and get on with getting the UK out of the EU...
I presume that is what you therefore do - I am surprised no one has noticed though I note as PPC you came 4th. with well below the UKIP average - do you feel if UKIP was professionalised, cleaned up and had competent leadership they could have helped you towards the aim of Leave-The-EU rather better?
Can YOU name a single solitary achievement of UKIP that has moved us one inch closer to Leave-The-EU with under 30 elected individuals out of 19,500 seats?
No - they cling to UKIP for another reason - which can only be to damage it against liblabcon - otherwise liblabcon would be in their sights too...
I find your nihilistic accusation somewhat fancifull - to start with you haven't a clue what members of Junius do or in what name.
Also do remember it was UKIP that betrayed their electorate and no one else.
Personally I do what I can to accentuate the duplicity and corruption of the entire LibLabUKipCon as I find the glib manner they reward themselves whilst stealing money from the poor through the public purse disgusts me.
Where are the articles on how liblabcon have damaged the UK by supporting EU membership? I don't see them here.
If you look closely you will note the title of the blog is >Junius on UKIP< do excuse my confusion but why would you expect this blog to be about something else?
Is it petty jealousy, vanity, hurt pride?
Had you thought it might be to try to clean-up UKIP and make it fit for purpose?
I don't know
That is abundantly clear but I note it does not seem to prevent you foolishly speculating!
but Junius only has one purpose - to attack UKIP - and to do so because it has simply chosen to.
I do believe it would help if you were to look beyond such limited horizons, minded of the dishonesty and corruption that is UKIP with its racist, extremist, violent and sordid partners and the befouled leadership with scum like Mick McGough, and the low lifes that abound in the leadership claque - not to mention the serial manner in which their MEPs have been found guilty of fraud and ordered to pay back large sums of money or despite being sheltered and helped by Nigel Farage have wound up in prison.
Consider the ethics of UKIP leadership as they trouser £Millions just what have they done to earn anyones respect towards the aim of Leave-The-EU?
If you have a fact to refute those I have provided or to back your claims do let me know and we can publicise the achievement on one of my blogs also.

Greg_L-W.
