UKIP: The sickening hypocrisy of Godfrey Bloom

From UKIP's official website:

UKIP MEP Godfrey Bloom has expressed disbelief at a police scheme which asks shopkeepers not to report thefts of less than £20.

Humberside Police said retailers in North East Lincolnshire should instead keep a diary of minor value thefts, rather than report the crimes immediately.

Mr Bloom claimed the idea was giving a "green light" to shoplifters, saying: "I find it unbelievable that the police who are supposed to protect the public, obviously including hard-working shopkeepers, have come up with this hare-brained scheme."

End of quote.

It is nice to know that Bloom thinks that all shoplifters should be prosecuted. But has he forgotten that he himself was pulled in TWICE in one night by the Belgian police?

The first time for handing over money to a street prostitute (he claimed to be paying her for directions to the Colonades Hotel, where he was staying) and the second time for leaving a brothel without paying.

So what is the difference between shoplifting, and running off without paying for a service?

Would Mr Bloom please explain?

Bloom has admitted visiting brothels in Hong Kong, and said that the majority of prostitutes were not exploited: “In short, most girls do it because they want to". Perhaps he would like to tell that to the women forced into prostitution by criminal gangs. See: LINK

But we can well understand his need to pay women for sex. After all, what woman in her right mind would want to sleep with him for free?

Here are a few more Bloom facts:

Bloom was involved in a drunken fight with a certain Mr Koenig, a journalist for the Independent.

The incident took place in O’Farrell’s bar in Brussels. During one of Bloom’s now frequent drinking sessions he suddenly took a dislike to Mr Koenig and attacked him.

He was egged on by an equally drunken Farage who kept chanting “He’s BNP, Godfrey, he’s BNP, Godfrey”.

Fortunately, Bloom was pulled off the journalist before any lasting damage could be done.

Our readers may also interested to know that in September 2004, Bloom threatened to smash a class in Richard Corbett’s face after a row erupted in a Strasbourg bar. Richard Corbett was the Labour MEP for Yorkshire.

After a visit from female students at Cambridge to Bloom in the European Parliament, he was accused of sexual harassment and making a torrent of misogynist remarks. The students, who had in fact been there to show SUPPORT for Bloom, were shocked by his behaviour. One student wrote that Bloom touched her leg, and that:

“Mr Bloom asked a colleague ‘Isn’t she the most delicious bimbette? Absolutely thick, but good tits’. Of the businesswoman who he had invited to share the platform at the next day’s press conference, Mr Bloom had only four words: ‘big tits, very feisty’.”

Bloom denied the touching but not the comments.

The three British MEPs with the worst attendance record are David Bannerman, Paul Nuttall and Godfrey Bloom, each averaging under 63 per cent. See: LINK

Bloom exploited a loophole to pay a relative to work for him.

He states on his website that he “employs no immediate members of his family on his secretarial allowance unlike most other MEPs”. However Victoria Skowronek, his 21-year-old secretarial assistant, is his niece.

Miss Skowronek also works for an investment company in which Bloom is a major shareholder. See: LINK

Bloom applauded the French bombing of a Greenpeace ship. One man died in the attack. See: LINK

Bloom secretly claimed a second EU pension. Another so-called 'Euro-sceptic' who is quite happy to reap the rewards of being a Euro MEP! See: LINK

Bloom was banned from the Mansion House after a drunken outburst. See: LINK

Bloom can't even stay sober when making speeches in the EU Parliament. Here is one such example:

It is a tragedy that the people of Yorkshire have this man as their MEP. We pity them.

Nikki Sinclaire gets some more publicity

Nikki Sinclaire continues to Battle for Britain while Farage and Nuttall continue to do nothing but line their own pockets at our expense.

From the BBC News:

One of the West Midlands six MEP's was in Stoke-on-Trent to collect signatures for a petition calling for a referendum on the UK's membership of the EU.

Former UKIP member Nikki Sinclaire was elected in the 2008, but subsequently left the party.

She lost the whip after refusing to sit alongside UKIP's allies the EDF (Europe of Freedom and Democracy)group.

Ms Sinclaire has described members of the EDF as holding "a variety of extremist views".

Despite no longer having the support of her party the Euro MP said she was "determined to continue representing the people of the West Midlands".

In the meantime her brightly decorated campaign van will be travelling the six counties of the region in an effort to generate publicity for her petition.

UKIP V ELCOM: The law is clearly an ass

"If the law supposes that," said Mr. Bumble, " then the law is a ass, a idiot."

Charles Dickens

Here are the facts:

The case concerned illegal donations made by Alan Bown to UKIP between Dec 2004 and Jan 2006. The donations were illegal because Bown was not on the electoral register.

ELCOM warned UKIP on 67 separate occasions that the donations were illegal. UKIP’s leadership ignored EVERY warning and continued to take Bown’s money.

Andrew Smith – UKIP treasurer at the time – even recommended misleading ELCOM over their failure to comply with the rules:

From: "Smith Epping" To: "Geoffrey Kingscott" Cc: "Nigel Farage (UKIP)" ; "Douglas Denny"

Subject: Treasurers meeting

Thank you Geoffrey for organising the meeting. We need to give the Electoral Commission every reason to believe we are serious about compliance, in order to provide the next Party Treasurer with a good story to tell when we next fail to meet the statutory requirements.

They should be invited to any big regional meeting and to Party Conference to speak at least to a break-out meeting to Treasurers.

It would have been a suitable event for prospective Party Treasurers to learn a lot about what the job entailed. Were any of them there?

I thought the practical points which emerged, in the absence of the Electoral Commission, were a lesson for the NEC on what their priorities should be. The branches are crying out for better admin and they are full of good ideas.

I hope the NEC takes good notice of your report of the meeting.

AS

And yet, despite this the Supreme Court has ruled in UKIP's favour!

One can only question the competence of those judges involved in this crass and inept decision. A sad day for British justice and a Pyrrhic victory for UKIP.

UKIP will still have to pay the original magistrate's court forfeiture, something that David Abbott - a former UKIP NEC member - urged Farage to do at the time:

“At the time of the original hearing the NEC had members who recommended paying the 18,000, admitting the party's 'error' and getting on with campaigning. The secretary (who is a famous West End lawyer, according to Mr Farage), and Mr Farage himself were ardently against this sensible approach.”

Farage also ignored GLW's warnings and advice at the time.

So what was it all for? Wasted time and effort brought about by Zuckerman and Farage's original refusal to listen to sound advice that UKIP should apologise and pay up.

A statement from ELCOM:

Response to Supreme Court judgment on donations to UKIP
29 Jul 2010

The Electoral Commission – the independent party funding regulator – has said it will carefully consider the implications of the Supreme Court’s decision for how donations to political parties that have come from an impermissible source are dealt with in future.

In 2007, the Commission sought forfeiture of £367,697 in impermissible donations accepted by the United Kingdom Independence Party. These 67 separate donations were from an individual not on the electoral register and a company not registered under the Companies Act 1985. The Magistrates Court found that all the donations were from an impermissible source, but ordered forfeiture of only £18,481 of this amount. An appeal from the Commission after consideration by the High Court led to a judgment in October 2009 by the Court of Appeal that the law required all impermissible donations to be forfeited, other than in exceptional circumstances.

The Supreme Court’s decision today is in response to an appeal by UKIP against the Court of Appeal’s judgment. In a majority decision the Supreme Court has taken a different approach to the Court of Appeal and upheld the wide discretion as exercised by the Magistrates Court in relation to the amount that should be forfeited on this case.

Lisa Klein, Director of Party and Election Finance at the Electoral Commission, commented: “Throughout this process, we have made clear that what we wanted to achieve was clarity about the way the law should be applied. Today’s Supreme Court judgement sets out how the rules on forfeiture apply to impermissible donations. The law on what an impermissible donation is has not changed.

Political parties need to raise money to develop policy and communicate with voters. Parties need to be clear about the rules that apply to raising money. And voters expect the Commission, as the independent regulator, to hold to account those who do not comply with those rules.

The Supreme Court has now set out how the rules apply to donations from an impermissible source, and we will carefully consider the implications of the judgment for how impermissible donations are dealt with in future.”

Ends

Background for journalists

In February 2007 the Commission decided to seek forfeiture from the United Kingdom Independence Party of donations amounting to £367,697 from Alan Bown and Nightech Ltd. These 67 separate donations were received between December 2004 and January 2006. These were from impermissible sources as Mr. Bown was not on the electoral register at the time of making the donations and Nightech was not registered in the UK under the Companies Act 1985.

The application by the Commission for a court order for forfeiture was heard at Westminster Magistrates Court in July 2007. In August 2007 the District Judge ordered that UKIP should forfeit £14,481 of donations given to the party by Alan Bown. The Judge also ordered them to forfeit the £4,000 from Nightech ltd.

Given that the District Judge did not order forfeiture of the full amount, although they found all donation in question to be from impermissible sources, on 28 August 2007 the Electoral Commission applied to the High Court to review the Magistrates Court judgment to ensure there was clarity in how the law should be applied.

On 22 January 2009, the High Court upheld the Commission’s appeal and ordered the re-hearing of the case at Westminster Magistrate’s Court. However, the Commission considered that the High Court provided insufficient clarity for political parties as to how the rules should be applied. The Commission applied to the Court of Appeal to review the High Court judgement.

On 19 October 2009, the Court of Appeal unanimously upheld the Commission’s appeal concluding that, in all but exceptional circumstances, political parties should give up in full donations accepted from impermissible sources. UKIP appealed to the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court hearing took place on 8 and 9 June 2010.

End of statement.

UKIP: Nikki Sinclaire Battling for Britain

Nikki Sinclaire is attracting serious media attention with her campaign for a referendum on Britain's continued membership of the EU. At the same time, UKIP members are asking "why didn't UKIP do this?"

The answer is - "because the MEPs are too busy putting their snouts in the trough, and Nigel Farage is only interested in building himself a media career!"

Nikki is working hard at doing what she was elected to do - campaigning against the EU. The rest of them appear to be doing impersonations of chocolate fireguards.

UKIP: The Adventure of Derek Clark, the limo and those slippers

It is not just the odious Paul 'Benito' Nuttall who likes wasting British taxpayers money on swanky ego tripping cars.

Some of us will never forget the time a very large black limo with tinted windows brought a supposedly 'VIP' guest to a 'Cranks and Gadflies' dinner in Strasbourg.

Everyone thought that Farage had managed to attract a film star or even royalty to his latest drinking session. Who could it be? Prince Charles? Elton John? Joan Collins? Jesus? With bated breath we watched the door slowly open!

And who stumbled out? Derek Clark!

What a let down! But we were all very relieved to see that Derek had remembered to leave his slippers at home.

Derek is now getting rather old. He falls asleep at the drop of a hat, is getting very forgetful and can't walk like he used to. On at least one occasion he apparently turned up for a UKIP meeting in a fetching pair of ........ slippers!

Ain't you just glad that he is representing Britain in the EU?

Nikki Sinclaire MEP : The ‘People’s Petition’

If there were any further proof needed of what UKIP's MEPs could have achieved if they were free of the shackles of Faragism, then this is surely it. With their funds disappearing into Farage's coffers, without any knowledge of what their money is spent on, UKIP's MEPs have achieved precisely nothing. Nikki Sinclaire, however, by leaving the corrupt EFD group, has used her resources to create a campaign designed to force a debate on continued membership of the EU in the House of Commons.

Farage's disciples should take note: this is what they were elected to do! They failed...

Nikki Sinclaire Press Release

West Midlands MEP Launches ambitious 100,000 ‘People’s Petition’ in Birmingham and Stoke

Campaigning West Midlands MEP Nikki Sinclaire has today launched a ‘people’s petition’ calling on the coalition government to hold a referendum on European Union membership

Said Nikki ‘It is a disgrace that no-one under the age of 53 has had the chance to say whether they want to be part of the European Union and yet it spends £45m of our money every day’. Nikki is using a campaign ‘battle bus’ to visit ‘every town and City in the Midlands over the next year to collect signatures. Said Nikki ‘I aim to collect the petition over the next year or so and have also launched an online version at http://www.haveyoursay.eu/

UKIP mugs & Junius is big in Portimão

UKIP Mugs

And no, we are not talking about Douglas Denny or Stuart Agnew!

Urban Dictionary are selling various UKIP mugs, shirts, magnets and even paste on tattoos. All feature the following wording:

UKIP

A minority party formerly led by oily TV presenter Robert Kilroy Silk until even he realised there must be better things to do with your life than this. Basicaly the UKIP are a one-policy party who go on about freeing Britain from the EU, though haven't any real idea how to go about it or how to deal with the economy, the NHS, crime, schools or anything else. A typical UKIP party political broadcast can consist of either comedy stereotypes of Europeans or ranting upper-crust ex-soldiers and rather dim housewives.

The UKIP manifesto: "We talk, U kip".

End of quote.

Prices start from $1.60. We have already ordered 'I Love Nigel Farage' & 'Derek Clark rocks our boat' paste on tattoos for several of our friends.

We hear that Urban also intend to produce limited edition Derek Clark slippers and Don Ransome drinking glasses in a range of fetching and tasteful colours.

It is just as well that Urban don't produce lifesize Gerard Batten dolls. We hate to think what Tim would do with them if they did!

Junius: Big in Portimão

We were rather intrigued to hear that we have a big fan base in sunny Portimão. We also have some rather important followers in Brussels and Westminster.

We hope that you are enjoying our humble blog and our continuing crusade to expose the widespread corruption in Farage's UKIP!

UKIP: Nigel Farage prepares to chop!

It has been brought to our attention that Farage wishes to downsize UKIP/EFD staff in the EU Parliament.

It is interesting to note that Mark Croucher's name has already vanished from the EFD website. He was the Head of Media for the Europe of Freedom and Democracy Group. Has the chubby, balding one finally overstayed his UKIP welcome? For more on this obnoxious creep: LINK

So why is Nigel suddenly keen to axe certain staff members? Could he be cutting his costs in readiness to use spare EU funds to cover legal bills if the Supreme Court decision goes against him? See: LINK

After all, Nigel is a past master at hiding the source of his funding and he would need time to sort these matters out before the decision of the court. By now he would know roughly when he is due to receive their decision, plus his legal team would have forewarned him of the likely costs.

We live in very interesting times!

UKIP: Paul Nuttall's snout is firmly in the trough

The odious Paul Benito Nuttall is certainly making good use of British taxpayers money!

From The Liverpool Daily Post:

Picture the scene. I'm driving Islington yesterday and notice in front of me a big Land Rover Discovery.

It's all black with tinted windows. Then I notice the number plate EU06 0UT.

At the next set of lights I pull up and there is none other than UKIP MEP Paul Nuttall in the driving seat.

So while Liberal Democrat Colin Eldridge wears his parliamentary ambition on his sleeves, Mr Nuttall displays his politics on his plate.

Depressed said:

What a great use of his MEP salary. How reassuring to know he is our voice in Europe - not. A compelling argument if ever there was one against a PR voting system.

More trouble for UKIP

It has been brought to our attention that UKIP has not been entirely honest when it came to declaring all their donations following the General Election.

In the interests of truth and justice we can confirm that a third party has contacted ELCOM with evidence of this deceit.

UKIP is also the subject of several complaints to ELCOM after the Sunday Times exposed Lord Pearson, Nigel Farage, Peter Reeve, David Bannerman and Stuart Agnew as being somewhat less than honest people. See: LINK.

When will UKIP ever learn? They already face massive court costs after they ignored ELCOM's warning and continued to accept illegal donations from Alan Bown. Andrew Smith - UKIP treasurer at the time - even advised colleagues to misled ELCOM over this. See: LINK & LINK

They claim to be a party that stands for law and order and yet are quite happy to ignore and break the laws of this land when it suits them!

Derek Clark & the sad tale of Mr UKIP

The pressures of working for Derek Clark, plus the OLAF investigation into how Don Ransome was paid by his boss begin to take there toll on UKIP's East Midlands RO. No wonder Don hit the bottle and almost crashed his car! See: LINK

And Derek Clark still sleeps on........

UKIP: And yet even more hypocrisy from Nigel Farage!

Remember Farage’s attacks on Belgium? He described it as a 'non-country' and an 'embarrassment'. See LINK & LINK

But how times have changed.

Nigel is now falling over himself to praise Belgian democracy and their decision to ban the burka!

So when Belgium agrees with him, it is a "democracy". But when he chooses so, Belgium is a "non country".

What a mentally impoverished little fool this man is! This is the kind of rhetoric one might expect from the sort of creature who never finished his education, (a fact that he has a bit of a chip on his shoulder about).

On Monday a tired and ill-looking Farage appeared on BBC’s Newsnight to discuss the ban. He was clearly out of his depth and was soon sidelined by a US Islamist feminist who presented a far better argument for banning the burka than the bumbling and intellectually challenged ex-UKIP leader.

Gerard Batten would have been a far better choice. But Farage hates him as Tim will confirm. No place for Gerard on Newsnight!

And what has happened to Lord Pearson. Wasn’t he supposed to be UKIP’s self proclaimed ‘expert’ on Islam?

Here is the link to the show:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00t6tss/Newsnight_19_07_2010/

And remember Van Rompuy (a Belgian) who was described by Farage as having the "charisma of a damp rag", among other insults?

As an obviously puzzled journalist, George Eaton (New Statesman), said at the time, "surely, as an anti-federalist, Farage should be grateful that the EU is led by a political pygmy? Wouldn't the traffic-stopping Tony Blair have been far worse?".

For Mr Eaton, and for Junius, Farage's attack on Van Rompuy was no more than a pre-election stunt.

Clearly he didn’t really mean a word of it because a post-election Farage later pompously attacked EU colleagues for snubbing the Belgian!

From Parliament.Com:

"I am half crocked after the accident yet have still managed to come to Brussels for this meeting"

Nigel Farage

UK Independence Party MEP Nigel Farage has condemned parliament's political top brass for "snubbing" a meeting with EU president Herman Van Rompuy.

Each group leader was invited to attend the meeting at which Van Rompuy will brief group leaders on the outcome of Thursday's EU summit.

Farage will be at the meeting as co-leader of the Europe of Freedom and Democracy group, despite still convalescing from serious injuries from a plane crash in the run up to the recent UK general election.

But EPP leader Joseph Daul and Martin Schulz, of the S&D group, will be absent. Daul will be in Germany while Schulz will remain in Strasbourg.

Their absence prompted Farage to accuse the pair of "snubbing" Van Rompuy.

"It is the first time parliament has been formally involved in the summit process in this way and it must be very embarrassing for Van Rompuy to see these two important figures effectively snubbing him," he said.

"I am half-crocked after the accident yet have still managed to come to Brussels for this meeting."

"I suspect they are staying away because they are sulking at this new, inter-governmental approach to holding EU summits," he added.

"It is small minded and stupid and an insult to Van Rompuy.

"Daul and Schulz are so committed to the community method they cannot see a compliment when it is staring them in the face."

Farage's comments will come as a surprise to some, given his attack in parliament on Van Rompuy when the former Belgium PM addressed members soon after his election as EU president.

The Ukip deputy incurred the wrath of many MEP colleagues when he likened him to a "damp rag".

Farage also said he was "on the road to recovery" and hoped to soon resume his parliamentary work on a permanent basis.

End of article.

UKIP Liverpool gets rather upset

We were amused to read this on the UKIP Liverpool website:

UKIP Watch

There is a you-tube user named ukipwatch publishing some despicable videos. One video shows Nigel Farage with a Hitler moustache and then the slogan the only good fascist is a dead fascist. This is then juxtaposed with a photo of a Nazi plane crashing, clearly referring to Nigel’s accident.

Of course the you tube user and the author of the website ukipwatch may not be the same person but this possibility should be noted. The content of the videos and the website are alike in that they are entirely devoid of rational argument and contain only ad hominem attacks against UKIP members.

End of statement.

They will be crying about it next!

UKIP Liverpool is best known for Rob Ager, Nigel's favourite film maker. See: LINK

And here is the offending 'ukipwatch' video:

Shocking! Why is Trevor Colman still willing to sit with such people? Time to practise what you preach, Trevor!

UKIP Watch is a website which is linked to the Labour Party and a certain ex-Labour MEP. So are the videos by the same people? It would be unfair to put UKIP Liverpool out of their obvious misery by revealing the truth.

But we can guarantee that both UKIP Liverpool and Nigel won't like the next video devoted to the ex-UKIP leader!

And Derek Clark will be the subject of a future epic. Watch this space.

UKIP: Mark Croucher V The BNP

Interesting statement from Nick Griffin:

MARK CROUCHER V NICK GRIFFIN

Mark Croucher is a former UKIP Press Officer with known links to Searchlight.

During the European Election, he tried to get bailiffs to seize the Truth Truck in order to enforce a judgement he had got on the sly over the use of a photo of Nigel Farage for which he claimed copyright.

Ironically, this photo was posted on our website, against clear instructions, by one Andrew Edwards, a non-member who was doing volunteer work for us at the time but who now spends most of his time attacking the current BNP leadership over, among other things, ‘unnecessary court cases’. Pot, kettle, black!

We have since won a counter-claim and Croucher now owes us £1,000, but has managed to get the case continued.

Many in the Eurorealist movement look at Mark Croucher’ relentless attacks on both UKIP and the BNP and ask whose side he is really on? He poses as a Eurosceptic, but does nothing except attack parties opposed to Britain’s membership of the EU.

He was clearly desperate to drag us into court, and the ‘mistake’ by Andrew Edwards would have given him the opportunity regardless of who was in charge.

End of statement.

Earlier this year Croucher also took GLW to court over alleged breach of copyright. He was too cowardly to attend the court and deservedly lost the case.

The Judge awarded GLW £8,448.50 in costs and ordered Croucher to pay the amount within 28 days. Croucher has ignored the judge and is currently seeking to evade his legal duties by hiding in Brussels. He is to face further legal action over his failure to abide by the Judge's ruling. Nigel Farage MEP: UKIP's Mr Synthetic.

Nigel Farage must think that we have very short memories!

From The Economist:

NIGEL FARAGE, a British politician with a knack for synthetic outrage, was appalled to learn recently that over 1,000 European Union officials earn more than Britain’s prime minister. The EU is a “racket”, thundered Mr Farage, who sits in the European Parliament for the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP). No wonder Brussels bureaucrats demand “more Europe”, he declared. What they really want is “more money” for themselves.

To see the original: LINK

What a hypocrite. But he does have a knack for expressing synthetic outrage. Not really surprising though when you consider that our dear Nigel is himself an utterly synthetic entity!

Nigel Farage:

The man who claimed £2 million in EU expenses.

The man who refuses to publish a full audit of his EU accounts.

The man who employs his wife using EU money.

The man who refuses to say what happened to the £211,000 that vanished from UKIP's South East accounts.

The man who refuses to say what happened to the money raised by the Ashford call centre. He even refused John de Roeck sight of the accounts. De Roeck was UKIP treasurer at the time!

The man who finds EU funded jobs for his cronies and sycophants. Just ask Martin Jay, Peter Reeve, Andrew Fear, Don Ransome and Lisa Duffy!

The man who secretly signed up for a second EU pension. He only left the scheme after he was exposed by the media!

The last words are best left to Petrina Holdsworth, UKIP's former chairman:

If he has been involved in increasing his pension in this way then as the then Leader of an anti EU party he is in dire straights, the humbug of it all is staggering by anyone’s standards. If he is not involved then he should make that clear immediately.

I have to say that at the time I was Chairman I heard that a number of UKIP MEPs were feathering their nests in this way but no proof was ever forthcoming.

Nuff Said!

UKIP: Mike Nattrass on dissolving the dead

Sadly, this press release is not about how Mike would end Lord Pearson's disastrous reign as UKIP leader!

From: mike nattrass [mailto:ukipmep@hotmail.co.uk]
Sent: 09 July 2010 11:14
Subject: FW: PRESS RELEASE: DISSOLVING THE DEAD

PRESS RELEASE

UKIP WEST MIDLANDS MEP MIKE NATTRASS

EU looks into dissolving the dead

UKIP West Midlands MEP Mike Nattrass says he is shocked and appalled following news the EU is looking into so-called eco-friendly plans where undertakers could dissolve the dead then flush them into the sewage system.

The MEP says he is horrified the European Commission is currently investigating plans which could see corpses dissolved in caustic solutions in a bid to cut down on the amount of land taken up by graves.

Belgian undertakers have come up with the proposals which could see the placing of people’s deceased loved ones in containers containing salts and water.

Under the process, which is being proposed by the Flemish Association of Undertakers, these containers would then be pressurised and some time later the liquid and mineral ash left over could be flushed into sewage systems or be put into urns and given to loved ones.

From the sewage systems what is left of the deceased could be recycled in water processing plants.

But, Mr Nattrass has this week expressed his dismay over the macabre moves and expressed concerns the process could be implemented across Europe, including in Britain , if the EU gives the plan its backing.

Mr Nattrass said: “I find this plan absolutely abhorrent and sounds like something out of some horrible horror movie.

“The whole thing is totally sickening. What we are talking about here is dissolving the dead and flushing them into the sewage system.

“I am appalled that the European Commission is even looking into this. This disrespectful process of disposing of the dead should not even be considered.

"I would rather they dissolved the European Parliament and flushed that down the sewer where it belongs," he added.

A former UKIPPER on the failure of UKIP

Yasin Akgun is a former member of UKIP and Young Independence, UKIP's inept youth organisation. He left UKIP after becoming disillusioned with the leadership's total failure to make the party a real force for change in British politics.

The following articles are worth reading. They are written by Mr Akgun and were taken from Political Pundits:

UKIP MEP’s Have Worst Attendance Record (Again)

I remember a year or so ago when I was working for UKIP reading a report by Open Europe that UKIP MEP’s were amongst the worst attendees to the European Parliament, it was then I started gnawing my Starbucks cup trying hard not to disappear inside it with a heaping feeling of cringeworthy embarrassment.

Fast forward to the present and UKIP finds it in the same boat, again. VoteWatch, an independent organisation has published a report which shows, in an entirely neutral way, the attendance rates of MEPs from all EU member states. MEP’s from Britain, averaged out between all of them had the worst attendance records when compared to all other EU countries.

British MEPs averaged 85% whilst ten other countries had over 90% attendance for their MEPs, the highest featuring Austrian MEPs with a 94% attendance rate.

The highest attending British MEPs were all Conservative (Giles Chichester, Malcolm Harbour, James Nicholson and Charles Tannock) and Liberal Democrat (Baroness Sarah Ludford and Bill Newton Dunn); all with an average of 98%.

In fact, if you were to take UKIP out of the equation Britain’s average would rocket up from an embarassing 85% to over 95%.

Interestingly, the one party that apparently is so concerned about the EU has the worst attendance record. The one political party that talks about nothing but the EU has the worst attendance record. An insulting irony for the millions of people that voted for UKIP in the last European elections with the promise that elected UKIP MEPs would be right inside parliament fighting for the interests of British people.

It doesn’t end there. I confronted some UKIP members about this, guess how many said that they were angry and would raise the issue with the party? None. Guess how many responded with utter hot air? All. Amongst my favourite responses were:

UKIP do not recognise the European Parliament so why would they attend parliamentary sessions?

erm, interesting that they recognise the parliament when it comes to clocking in and cashing out..

UKIP MEPs have more use in their own country than in the European Parliament

erm, how does that work out? What use do they have when they have about as much say in national issues as Nick Griffin has on a black history month event?

Yasin why do you always pick on UKIP, grow some political back bone, don’t see you saying anything about the Tories

This one was my favourite as it was said to me on Facebook above various statuses and links to articles I’ve written criticising the Conservative Party on a myriad of issues. And having someone from UKIP who refuses to acknowledge that not bothering to turn up and represent your own country when laws are being made is in any way wrong tell me that I have no political backbone is like, well, like having Katie Price call me a slag, or Nick Griffin tell me I have no respect for immigrants.

My most favourite of all the responses was this one:

people don’t vote for UKIP for them to go to the European Parliament

Hmm, not what was said on the election leaflets. Good luck getting any votes telling people that. Vote for us and we won’t bother our overpaid arses to go and represent our country, despite cashing in on the allowances that are there to allow us to do so. Even Prentis McCabe couldn’t PR spin that one.

For a party that obsesses over the EU and bangs on about it all the time you would expect that they would be camped outside the European Parliament, there at every meeting and vote, sticking up for us poor Brits. Evidently not.

UKIP members wonder why Eurosceptics want nothing to do with them. They wonder why they lost to the BNP in practically every constituency in the general election. They wonder why, despite at least 60% of Brits wanting a referendum on the EU that barely 2% vote for the one party that promises an in or out referendum.

Oh and how many elected UKIP MEPs no longer sit with UKIP in the European Parliament? Two. In other words, barely a year gone by and UKIP have already lost two MEPs. And counting..

What Costs Nothing & Achieves Nothing? Joining UKIP..

I admit the title is slightly harsh but then again it is true. UKIP’s latest drive to increase its fast decreasing membership is to offer free memberships to everyone.

UKIP haven’t exactly been doing well with its members and membership base. Every where you look online or in the papers you hear of members, officials and even MEPs leaving the party. The situation has got increasingly dire for UKIP over the past few years. So much so that one of their MEPs was forced to admit that there are now more ex-members than current members. Which is worrying for a party that hasn’t been there for a long enough time to have the excuse of ‘they all died out’.

When I was in UKIP one of the incentives I wanted to start for the youth wing of the party was to start a student membership scheme of the party. £1 student membership which is geared directly towards the student; online newsletters instead of archaic snail mail and text alerts when relevant. I wrote a proposal outlining why it was needed, how it would pay for itself and the mountains of benefits it would have. The National Exec didn’t want to know.

Fast forward a year or so to now, it seems they’re reacting too late and too desperately to their utterly dire membership situation. Free membership sounds all well, until you look at the terms and conditions of this free ‘membership’:

members joining under the FREE scheme, do not have internal party voting rights

So therefore they are not members since the UKIP constitution states that members have rights to internal voting. And this from a party which has aspirations for running the country?

I have a good idea as to what genius had this brain wave of an idea but I’ll just sit back and admittedly arrogantly titter at their ineptness at marketing or recruiting.

So if you want to get nothing for nothing then join UKIP for free. You’ll be a member but not a member. You’ll just be a recipient of political spam. On the surface it seems like a mildly clever marketing ploy but let’s face it, people aren’t as stupid as the people or person that came up with this recruitment drive.

No doubt I may get the odd UKIP member replying to this article or bitching like a bruised banana elsewhere about me that this article is merely anti-UKIP propaganda when it is simply straight talking. Incidentally something they think they’re good at.

If UKIP want new members they need a proper marketing drive which starts from the bottom up. Not from the top down. Which is ironic since this is their philosophy on running the country.

UKIP: Martin Jay - Farage's ''Media Trainer' and no friend of Gerard Batten

The following email has been in circulation for a couple of days. We felt that it deserved a wider audience.

We publish it in full:

The identity of the blogger known as "Skeptyk" has been the subject of some debate. The assumption that this is a Croucher/Fuller joint production is widely shared, but never seemed to really explain some of the content of the blog. Certain technical mistakes suggested a less than deep understanding of the current parliament. The style, however, is familiar to seasoned EU watchers, and now I can reveal Skeptyk's identity. Step forward Martin Jay.

Jay is a former editor (along with UKIP's Gawain Towler) of the somewhat pornographic and now defunct magazine 'The Sprout', pushed out of business following an unsavoury incident with photographs of autopsies on young girls. He is known to be in the employ of UKIP's EFD group - much to the anger of Marta Andreasson - as a "media trainer". Gerard Batten is also known to be less than happy, as Jay once accused him of being a "Nazi", subsequently landing Jay with a hefty bill in order to keep himself out of court on libel charges. Batten later promised to leave the EFD if it employed Jay in any capacity.

(Junius says: Time to leave the EFD, Gerard!)

It is not just the lack of up to date knowledge, or the writing style that was the giveaway. Skeptyk recently revealed that he was holidaying in Morrocco (where Jay is known to spend a great deal of time). It was interesting to note that Madame Fuller was also on holiday at the same time - she is no stranger to the land of hashsh and underage rent-boys herself - and has also been romantically linked to errrr...... Martin Jay!

UKIP: Gordon Parkin fails to defend Farage

GLW has passed on to us a very interesting email exchange between Gordon Parkin, Andrew Edwards and John West. Parkin is the EU funded regional organiser for the North East. He was also an MEP candidate.

We note that Mr Parkin is unable or unwilling to bring himself to defend Farage, the EFD Group or Farage's employment of his wife. But how can you defend the indefensible?

Do you think that Mr Parkin should be funded by the British taxpayer? Is he worth a single Euro? The collapse of UKIP branches in the region and the total failure of UKIP to achieve ANYTHING electorally in the NE should tell you a thing or two about Mr Parkin's competence as an RO.

He can be contacted on:

Subject: Nigel's attention seeking goes beyond satire!

Over the years we've become used to the antics of Nigel Farage. Anything to get his mug into the press seems to be his modus operandi of choice.

Whether it be burning psuedo gypsy caravans; playing with an inflatable tractor in Brussels (until PC Plod told him to behave himself); dressing people up as chickens - inside of Europarl; pulling banners across the sky in an aeroplane (which almost killed him), we've seen them all.

Recently, and, no doubt in fear of the Belgian Plod, he's taken to insulting EU notables. Much safer! Not that he's done this (or anything else for that matter), for any great purpose, not in the least. Rather it's always for one reason, and one reason only: To ensure his smarmy mug makes the headlines. Such is his vanity and his insecurity! He's way past caring for 'the cause'. These days he only cares about his bank balance, and being a meja 'celebrity'. Of course it never enters his head that he's merely a transient 'C' list celebrity - here today and gone tomorrow!

Recently the Massa has been in the headlines for making insulting remarks against Belgium and its people. Something that the meja has taken great pleasure in reporting - it always does when Farage makes an ass of himself, thereby harming the cause he's supposed to represent!

Now there are rumours circulating in Brussels that his next stunt will be even more OTT than previous efforts: It would seem that he's even planning on wearing fancy dress in an Europarl plenary!!!

A.

PS: If this impression of the Massa turns out to be accurate, honestly, you'll never be able to watch a certain cartoon character ever again!

Given that you are the R.O. of UKIP for the NE you really should stop belly aching when you get messages pointing out to you that the likes of Nigel Farage are a hindrance to the anti EU cause, you should look hard at the allegations being made.

You Sir have a duty to your membership, and their best interests are, not, repeat, not served by you being a sycophantic mouthpiece for the indefensible!

Tell me, which is the more important to you - your position as R.O.; or the best interests of your members and the country. Given the attitude displayed below I'd suggest that your 'position' is the most important!

If you want to prove otherwise, maybe you'd like to explain just why you support MEP's who happily sit alongside Fascists, homophobes, anti-Semites, and such like? Or why Tory Peers now sit at the top of your Party. Or why Farage pays his wife £30k+ for not a lot. Or why he refuses to disclose his expenses, or explain where all the cash went from Ashford call centre, and the SE accounts. Oh and how about 'Bloomer's' revealing just how much he's made out of being an MEP?

Lot's of question Mr Parkin, but damned few answers. I won't hold my breath whilst awaiting a reply!

A. PS: Other NE contacts have been Bcc'd into this exchange

Your words speak volumes of your lack of integrity and that of the party you claim to represent.

It is no surprise that so many people have now disassociated themselves from the corrupt, self-serving and racist EUKIP.

Junius Presents: Lord Pearson - The Movie

Produced in association with Douglas Denny/Heinrich Himmler Enterprises. Funded by a generous grant from UKIPWATCH/Farage LTD.

UKIP: Compulsive Roman Hello Disorder

An ailment that often affects "former" Nazis and fascists is the so-called "compulsive Roman hello disorder" (cRhd)

Sufferers, who generally find it difficult to integrate themselves into polite society, are seized with an overwhelming desire to raise their right arm into the air and shout "Heil Hitler". The EFD group has two prominent sufferers: Morten Messerschmidt, previously convicted for a racial offence, was once forced to resign from his job after a cRhd attack in a Copenhagen bar in which he not only "Heiled Hitler", but apparently burst into a rousing rendition of the Horst Wessel song.

Mario Borghezio, a well know Dr Strangelove lookalike, is another sufferer. His condition is far worse, in that he doesn't want to just sing about it, he wants to do it. He has a string of convictions for racial assault and child abuse, and was recently filmed by an undercover TV news crew encouraging fascists to infiltrate mainstream political parties. If that was his reason for joining the EFD, he must be sorely disappointed - there is nothing mainstream about that bunch of jokers!

And we are not the slightest bit surprised that Douglas 'Just call me Heinrich' Denny has chosen to use Dr Strangelove as his avatar on the British Democracy Forum. When you are as mad as a hatter it sometimes pays to advertise the fact!

UKIP MEPs have worst European Parliament attendance record

So who are the worst?

David Bannerman. Exposed by the Sunday Times after it emerged that he was illegally paying Peter Reeve out of his EU staffing allowances. Is currently the subject of several complaints to OLAF. Serial liar who claims to be related to a former prime minister. Became an MEP due to a rigged selection process. See: LINK

The odious Paul Nuttall. Mussolini lookalike and missing link. So lacking in personality that he feels the need to model himself on Farage. He even dresses like him!

More than happy to sit with various fascist groups in the EFD. Supporter of racist organisations such as the Lega Nord.
See: LINK & LINK

Godfrey Bloom. Drunkard, supporter of terrorism, brothel user and serial idiot. Best known for insulting women and making a speech in the EU Parliament whilst drunk. See: LINK & LINK & LINK

UKIP’s spin machine has been quick to claim that the trio “spend more time helping constituents whose lives and livelihoods have been ruined by EU legislation”.

The odious Paul Nuttall went further:

I’ll hold my hands up, as my attendance record is flaky to say the least. But so what? I treat Brussels with the contempt it deserves: it has no real democratic mandate and MEPs only exist as a pretence to make the EU look democratic, when in fact we all know it is not.

End of quote.

So why even bother to seek election if you feel being an MEP is pointless? Just in it for the money?

And what about those UKIP MEPs who have a good attendance record? Do you think that they are wrong and therefore should be condemned for supporting a corrupt parliament?

And why was Nuttall so keen to remove Gregg Beaman as UKIP’s lead MEP candidate before the Euro elections?

And why accept an EU salary (£90,000) when you claim to hate everything that the EU stands for? Nikki Sinclaire was prepared to donate a large part of her salary to UKIP. Why haven’t you?

So would Nuttall, Bloom and Bannerman like to provide examples of just how they have been helping their constituents? Quick calls to a few UKIPPERS in the Eastern Region, the NW and Yorkshire sadly reveals a different story!

Many branches have not heard from their MEP for months. Where are the public meetings and surgeries? Even requests for help during the GE were ignored. For instance, Bannerman was asked by several branches for a donation to their campaign funds. He refused.

Weren’t UKIP’s MEPs supposed to fight EU legislation? How can they do that from the UK?

But perhaps they lack the intelligence to understand what they are supposed to do and so wisely stay away?

One Brussels journalist recently told us that the majority of UKIP’s MEPs are “not even fit to run a parish council”.

Nuff said!

From The Telegraph:

British MEPs have worst European Parliament attendance record

British MEPs have the worst attendance record in the European Parliament, according to a survey.

The 72-strong UK delegation attended an average 85 per cent of key voting sessions in the 12 months, the lowest of the 27 national delegations and below France, whose MEPs had an 88 per cent attendance record, and Germany, who MEPs has a 91 per cent attendance.

The data, compiled by VoteWatch, an independent website, is based on average attendance at the 12 annual "plenary" sessions when MEPs vote on draft EU legislation.

British MEPs' attendance actually averaged 90 per cent in the six months to December 31 2009 but this fell to 81 per cent in the second half of the current legislature when many MEPs spent more time in their constituencies for the General Election.

VoteWatch say elections in other countries, including Hungary and Greece, saw a similar fall in attendance for their MEPs but, even so, the UK average was down on the previous five-year parliamentary term.

The survey shows that six British MEPs managed an average of 98 per cent, these were Conservatives Giles Chichester, Malcolm Harbour, James Nicholson and Charles Tannock plus Liberal Democrats Baroness Sarah Ludford and Bill Newton Dunn.

The three British MEPs with the worst attendance record are the Ukip MEPs David Campbell Bannerman, Paul Nuttall and Godfrey Bloom, each averaging under 63 per cent.

Italian MEPs tripled their rate but still have the third worst attendance record.

Nigel Farage, the Ukip MEP said, "Any similarity to democracy in the European Parliament is purely accidental. Ukip MEPs spend more time helping constituents whose lives and livelihoods have been ruined by EU legislation.

"While we are always present for crucial votes, Britain has normally already been sold down the river by the British government long before the parliament votes on what is a foregone conclusion."

A Conservative Party spokesman said: "The three main parties average out in the mid to high 80-plus percentage whilst Ukip only manage 78 per cent. If you just took the three main parties' attendance, the UK would be in the middle of the table."

Stephen Booth, of the Open Europe think tank, said: "British MEPs are paid an awful lot of money to defend the interests of UK voters in Europe but it's pretty difficult to do that if they don't turn up to vote. Helping to fight the general election campaign is all very well but MEPs' first duty is to make sure that EU laws coming out of the European Parliament are good for the UK."

UKIP: Monckton's new wonder cure!

Following on for his cures for everything from beriberi to bubonic plague, Lord and Emperor Monckton I has again excelled himself. This time he's discovered a cure for .... poor poll results!

No wonder Pearson wanted him on board.

Nigel Farage has been addicted to Votagra pills for sometime.
