Fascism in UKIP: December 1st 2008, a day that will live in infamy

On December 1st the last flicker of liberty in UKIP was snuffed out by Farage, Nuttall and their nodding donkeys on the NEC.

The proposed changes to UKIP’s constitution were passed. Del Young acted as the conscience of the party and voted no. The proposed changes will give Farage and Nuttall the power to remove anyone who dares to question them. Disciplinary committees will become a thing of the past. UKIP will become a fully fledged fascist style party where the Farage’s word is law.

Farage needs two-thirds of the membership vote in favour of the changes. Even he is not prepared to change that particular rule just yet! An article about the changes will appear in the next issue of Independence. All members will be asked to vote in favour of the changes “as there are various infiltrators who are out to undermine UKIP and destroy our electoral chances. We must remove these troublemakers before they can do anymore damage to the party.”

Members need to be aware that the leadership intends to oversee the ‘elections’. Farage is 100% that he will win. Does he know something that we don’t?

Once his victory is announced the mass expulsions will begin.

Trevor Colman and Gawain Towler

As you can imagine Nigel Farage was not in the best of moods when Trevor Colman was elected the lead UKIP MEP candidate in the South West. The last thing Farage needs is an independently minded MEP in his party. He likes ‘his’ MEPs compliant and willing to follow his every whim. Much to Nigel’s fury Trevor Colman prefers to follow his conscience and the wishes of the members.

Gawain Towler was also not very pleased. He fully expected to become lead candidate.

Nigel has never been very popular with members in the SW. For instance, they backed Roger Knapman’s decision to leave the Ind-Dem Group. They also snubbed Gawain Towler, Farage’s preferred candidate, in favour of Trevor Colman.

On several occasions Farage has tried, with the help of Gawain Towler and Malcolm Wood, to establish an alternate power base in the West. Every single attempt has failed. However, both Gawain and Nigel have not yet admitted defeat.

Recently, Gawain accused Trevor of making racist remarks at a Brussels reception. Mr Towler insists that he was contacted by a journalist who wished to complain about Trevor’s behaviour. Apparently, the journalist in question had overheard Trevor make ‘racist’ comments about immigrants in Birmingham.

Mr Towler naturally hopes that such accusations of racism will result in Trevor being forced to stand down. Gawain can then move up a place. Unfortunately, for Gawain, this plan has backfired very badly. Trevor has declined to be intimidated and has requested that Gawain supply him with the name of the journalist and the exact nature of the complaint. For some strange reason Mr Towler has now gone very quiet.

Poor old Gawain. Perhaps he should rejoin the Tories before it’s too late!

Fascism in UKIP: Nigel Farage's Night of the Long Knives

Nigel Farage is rapidly turning UKIP into a fascist style party. All those who refuse to accept HIS word as law are to be removed at the earliest opportunity. Sound familiar? Here is a selection of members featured on his hit list:

All of these people have committed the crime of disagreeing with the leader and his decisions. For that they must be thrown out of the party. So much for freedom of speech in Nigel Farage's UKIP. And he has the cheek to criticise the EU for gagging democracy!

Should UKIP be renamed the SS Titanic?

UKIP is currently sinking faster than the Titanic. Membership is down and donations are almost non-existent.Three of UKIP’s MEPs have privately admitted that they expect the party to face meltdown in June 2009. They feel that the BNP and the Tories will take many of the votes ‘lent’ to us in 2004. The most senior of the three has bitterly complained that “everything we gained in 2004 has been thrown away by Farage.”

I will not reveal their names - at this time - but I will say that all of them were first elected in 2004.

Here are their predictions:

South West: Retain one seat. Lose one to the Tories.

South East: Retain one seat. Lose one to the Tories or Lib Dems.

The Midlands: Lose all seats. BNP will probably gain seats in West and East Midands.Yorkshire: Lose seat to BNP or Tories.

North West. Lose seat to BNP.

London: A total disaster. Lose seat to BNP.

North East: Come behind BNP. Do not expect BNP to win seat.

East Anglia: Could retain one seat. The Tories and BNP could split the vote and finally end Bannerman‘s dreams of jumping on the EU Gravy Train. Lose the other seat to the Tories.

Wales: A disaster. UKIP will probably come behind BNP. BNP will not win a seat.

Scotland: As above.

Nigel Farage and his cabal are largely responsible for UKIP’s rapid decline since 2004. He has no real concern for UKIP, our country or the British people. He couldn’t even be bothered to get UKIP to campaign against the Lisbon Treaty. He even allows an EU reformist to become a UKIP MEP candidate! Farage is only interested in the trappings of power, the money and his minor celebrity status. The sooner he is kicked out the better. Remove him and his corrupt cabal or watch UKIP die!
