Another blog writes about Junius

An Anti-UKIP blog by a member of UKIP

A blog that has been fascinating me for some time is ‘Junius on Ukip’, which by all accounts has been setup by disgruntled members.

Attack blogs detailing sordid details of different political parties have been around for a long time. But they have been usually been run by opposing parties, taking pleasure in some misfortunes, internal strife and rows.

But this one is actually been run by a member who seem to know all the battles, affairs, resignations and financial shennanigans.

Members of parties who have become disillusioned mainly leave the party. But this blog seems pretty determined to bring the party down.

If only half what is said on this blog is true, then its surprising that the party is barely
existing.

The Junius bloggers are anti-UKIP, they’re not members. At least one of them gets information from the EU and is clearly in their employ. Most of what is written on that hate-blog is entirely made up or takes something that is true, embellishes it so that it’s 90% made up and turns it into a personal attack on someone.

Hilarious site, isn’t it? It’s all fake news, but I actually get paid to do the job. I work in the European Parliament with former UKIP MEP Nikki Sinclaire. That’s what I do all day long – invent nutty stories about UKIP. I love
it.

so the stories are not true? But why would anyone want to make it up?
Who would want to make it up?

I think you two have been fooled. Gary has not posted that nor does he invent stories or have anything to do with the junius blog

Hi,

I can vouch for the FACT that Junius are supporters of UKIP and if only the parasites and maggots feeding from the crumbs that fall from the troughs on the Gravy Train in self interest supporting UKIP’s utterly venal and completely unprincipled leadership would wake up and clean up UKIP they MIGHT once again provide our lifeboat.

For as long as you have fools like Stuart Parr, Mark Croucher, Annabelle Fuller, Gawain Towler and the anonymous cowards UKIP will NEVER be fit for purpose as no party can survive self seeking liars.

I assure you that the postings claimed to be by Gary are NOT genuine they are the level of childish behaviour EUkip parasites believe to be politics as they try to smear Nikki Sinclaire MEP who has out performed ALL of them.

My posting is genuine – my phone number is a matter of public record and I will stand by every word I publish in any Court of Law YOU choose.

My blogs publish provable, honourable FACTS and never ONCE have they been shown to be materially wrong.

UKIP: More Ms Anderson

Shouldn't there should be a law against middle aged politicians using impressionable young girls, for their own slimy purposes, Nigel?

The more you think about the bizarre saga of UKIP standing a young girl as their Mayoral candidate, in Leicester, the more unsavoury it becomes. This unfortunate 'A' level student has become the focus of an untold number of media reports about her candidacy; the pressure of which will not have helped her in her studies one iota!

It also goes without saying that the poor girl is utterly unsuitable to be considered for such a high profile political post. Paper candidate or not!

So, who was it who persuaded her to be a candidate in the first place? UKIP's local officials seem to be in the dark over it all! So just who was it who sanctioned what, IMHO, amounts to as clear case of crass manipulation for political ends as you can get. Nigel, was it you?

Surely you have a squalid enough pedigree already without adding to it by permitting this young lady to be used in the way that she has?

UKIP: Ms Anderson. The farce continues!

Ms Anderson ready for action

So Farage finally admits that she is a paper candidate. Pity he forgot to mention that UKIP's bent leadership had declined to inform the Leicester Branch and even the Regional Committee about her 'selection'. And what a pity he forgot to also mention that other potential candidates had been told to get lost without even the chance for an interview!

Would you really want to trust a £1 billion budget to a schoolgirl without any life experience? And to have Lisa 'about as useful as a chocolate teapot ' Duffy 'overseeing' the campaign is just the icing on the cake! Any crass decision by Fuhrer Farage!

From The Leicester Mercury:

UKIP leader Nigel Farage has admitted the party's mayoral election nominee is 'a paper candidate'.

Regine Anderson has not appeared at any hustings and has not canvassed for votes.

The party has repeatedly declined to supply any contact information for the A-level student and has only been able to issue one photograph of her.

UKIP declined to give any details of where Ms Anderson was studying, her background or plans for the city.

Asked whether Ms Anderson was a paper candidate – where someone stands but makes no real attempt to win – Mr Farage said: "Yes, I suppose you could call her that.

"But by standing she is giving people a choice to vote for UKIP.

"We're the only party which says grants for a university education should be brought back.

"That's a big issue for young people and that's why she's standing.

"She doesn't have time to campaign because of her upcoming A-levels."

When it was put to Mr Farage that independent candidate Mu-Hamid Pathan, 18, has appeared at hustings despite also studying for his A-levels, he said: "Well, we'll see who gets the best A-level results, then."

Mr Farage said UKIP was taking the election seriously.

He said: "We've got a city centre campaign office, our party's head of policy is running in the by-election and we've stood a candidate in the mayoral election.

"We've got candidates standing in wards across the city."

In a written statement, Ms Anderson said she was standing from the "depths of my revision notes" and did not have time to canvass for votes.

"There may be people asking why I put myself forward for such a position if I couldn't make the time to canvass.

"It's certainly not from a lack of respect for the position but because I am standing to highlight an issue which will affect thousands of young people."

Mr Pathan said he had managed to campaign and attend hustings despite having exams two weeks after election day.

He said: "I combine revision with campaigning and I'm predicted to get top grades in my exams."

The controversy comes after UKIP's Leicester South parliamentary by-election hopeful condemned Islam in his blog.

Abhijit Pandya called the religion "morally flawed and degenerate".

Mr Pandya issued a statement yesterday apologising for including the phrase "forced repatriation" in his blog.

He said: "This does not accurately convey the point I was trying to make and is not in any way part of UKIP policy.

"The point I was trying to make is that under current immigration controls, it is extremely difficult to deport illegal arrivals who have never contributed to the economy."

And this is what some readers of the original article had to say! Please note that one of them is by the UKIP Leicester West Chairman. He is far from happy! A farce of a candidate and a farce of a party!

Anyone ever wonder about how Farage prnounces his name?

If he succh a patriot shouldn't it be pronounced Farr-idge? Thoreau, Leicester

UKIP are obviously a farce of a party m, le3

If UKIP are so intent on losing their deposit couldn't they just have donated it to a worthy local cause?... I'd have had more respect for them if they had done so, rather than go through with this nonsense... Graham, Whetstone

I am the UKIP Leicester West branch manager. These two candidates do not represent the local UKIP candidates for the council elections. A paper candidate for the mayoral election is a joke, and Abhijit needs to be sacked from his post of 'head of policy' for his comments on his blog.

There is so much more at stake at a national level regarding the undemocratic EU, to have UKIPs name dragged through the mud in Leicester.

The people of Leicester deserve better than what they were offered here. To that end, I offer a personal apology to the people of Leicester, on behalf of the UKIP Leicester branch. Stuart Young, Leicester

Perhaps it should be renamed:

United Kingdom Invisible Party

Tranparent politics at last.. Kulgan, Crydee

How can Farage say UKIP is taking this Election seriously?!! They have put up a candidate no-one has seen, no-one knows and someone who has shown complete and utter contempt for this important Election.

It is no wonder people take little or no notice of what UKIP stand for yet, amazingly, folk will still vote for them. David, Great Easton, Rural Leicestershire.

Say No to AV!

It comes as no surprise that Farage, Dartmouth and the usual sycophants support AV. Click HERE to read what Dartmouth had to say on the subject.

One has to wonder whether Dartmouth has fully understood what 'AV' is all about? We doubt it. Dartmouth has never been regarded as the sharpest knife in the box and that is why Farage is happy to promote such people. They are never going to threaten your lead position on the EU Gravy Train or question where the money is going to end up.

Can we point out that AV is NOT about the first step to proportional representation. It's all about a political fix by corrupt politicians. And does Dartmouth really believe that voters will be given another referendum on voting reform? Come on! Dartmouth should really stop talking rubbish and read the following:

"Our current tried and tested voting system gives everyone one vote and delivers clear outcomes. The Alternative Vote is a complicated, expensive and unfair system that gives some people more votes than others. It might sound like a small change but the danger is in the detail – it's a politicians' fix.

Governments would be selected through backroom deals and people would have no control over where their vote goes. It should be voters that decide who the best candidate is, not the voting system. Defend one person, one vote. Vote NO to AV on 5 May."

Read the full detail here: http://www.no2av.org/

Not enough for your Lordship? Then how about the comments by Daniel Hannan?

http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/danielhannan/100067892/ten-reasons-to-vote-no-to-av/

Ignore Farage and his useful idiots and say NO to AV on May 5th!

UKIP: The Invisible Woman finally speaks while Nigel prepares to throw away at least £30,000 in order to avoid paying £750 in court damages!

So at last Ms Anderson condescends to speak!

This summer I have been studying at home for my A-Levels like most students in my situation. But unlike most students I am also a candidate for the position of Mayor of Leicester, writes 18-year-old Regine Anderson.

There may be people asking why I put myself forward for such a position if I couldn't make the time to canvass. It's certainly not from a lack of respect for the position but because I am standing to highlight an issue which will affect thousands of young people all over the country.

I'm studying inside whilst the sun is shining outside because I want to go to university. But because of the ill educated decisions by the previous and current administrations this will cost me £27,000 in tuition fees alone for a three year course.

That is why I decided to be the candidate for UKIP: I'm standing for the only party that would do something different, something radical, about the funding of higher education in this country and the mountainous, ever-increasing debts that are being loaded onto the shoulders of young people, like me, who want a university education.

This issue is blighting the lives of the younger generation and needs to be addressed not with violence on the streets but by ordinary people calling for a change via the ballot box. By standing in this election I am giving people an opportunity to consider this terrible, and worsening, situation and express their concern.

UKIP is the only party that wants to abolish tuition fees and bring back student grants. It wants this because education benefits society as a whole, but only if it is addressed properly.

It's simply ridiculous that 50% of students should go to university. All that happens when you do that is you lower the value of degrees and leave a dearth of other skills which used to be successful options for many schoolleavers.

We should be looking at a proper system of education in this country: multi-faceted education, with degrees for the academic and proper respect for the value of vocational, technical education and apprenticeships.

People need the chance to succeed at what they're good at, and what the country needs, rather than be forced into a one-size-bankrupts-all straitjacket of ever-devaluing university education.

Only UKIP is offering this – which is why I am the Party's candidate for Mayor, even if I do so from the depths of my revision notes.

What a crass statement! So she decided to say nothing until now because she wanted to make a protest about education? Laughable! It's almost as laughable as putting Scuffy Duffy in charge of the campaign! And what of the fact that the Leicester Branch was not even informed of Ms Anderson's selection? Another pathetic example of Farage's dictatorship!

Alan Hardy

Remember Alan Hardy? He was the UKIPPER who was unlawfully banned from attending UKIP meetings. They also tried to expel him from the party. In response, Mr Hardy took them to court. UKIP foolishly relied on Lisa Duffy to argue their case in court. And the result? UKIP lost. See: LINK & LINK

It has now emerged that UKIP has been given leave to appeal. And their likely costs will be at least £30,000! And even if they win Mr Hardy will not be liable for UKIP's costs!

The actual appeal to overturn the original judgement will be heard before three judges - one of whom MAY be a judge of the High Court - so you can imagine UKIP's final legal bill!

So UKIP's leadership is willing to waste thousands contesting the original decision of the court rather than pay out a paltry £750! So will Stuart Wheeler be expected to foot the bill? And will Farage even tell him what the money is for? And what does the membership think? Are they happy that the party is willing to spend at least £30,000 in order to avoid paying Mr Hardy £750 in damages?

Farage really needs his head looking at. That crash must have affected his mind more than we originally thought. Spending at least £30,000 to avoid writing a cheque for £750 doesn't sound like the wisest of moves! No wonder Douglas Denny is getting disillusioned with the whole UKIP thing!

UKIP: The Leicester campaign and more on Douglas Denny

The anger felt by many UKIPPERS over the selection of Ms Invisible Anderson continues. Even the UKIP Leicester branch was not informed that she was standing as the mayoral candidate. And how we laughed when we heard that Scruffy Duffy - she who needs a damn good wash - was picked to oversee the campaign. Now that is really scrapping the bottom of the barrel. She has no talent and has about as much brains as your average cocker spaniel but at least she can be counted on to do Nigel's bidding!

We also note that Derek Clark's popularity in the East Midlands continues to plummet. Branches are far from amused that Mr Clark would rather spend his time in Brussels sleeping in his office or attending his beloved EU committees. The local election campaign is not very high on Derek's list of priorities. But was it ever?

We do hope that he turns up in Leicester tomorrow as Nigel himself will be there to campaign with the mayoral and by-election candidates. Come on Derek, it's only 30 minutes away! We would really hate you to blot your copy book with the Fuhrer. You really need to make the effort. To say that even Nigel is far from pleased with your lack of activity is an understatement. Failure to show won't help your case!

No wonder Peter Reeve feels bitter!

And can we send out a message of sympathy to our old friend Don Ransome. Being sidelined in favour of Lisa Duffy is probably the worst humiliation that any UKIPPER can take. But at least he can count himself lucky that he doesn't have to sleep with her. No wonder Peter Reeve is so bitter!

And can we ask Don a simple question? Just why did you and Derek spend two whole days destroying documents in the Nottingham office after you first heard of OLAF's interest in your boss?

10,000 E-mails were viewed and deleted. Several interesting documents were taken back to Clark's home. Don, what happened to them? And we are fully aware that OLAF officials interviewed you and others about certain financial matters.

Douglas Denny

So Douglas has finally seen the light! We have been made privy to an interesting series of emails between Douglas and Fuhrer Farage. Mr Denny is far from pleased that Farage failed to keep the NEC fully informed of certain details surrounding the EFD group. He is also deeply unhappy about Nigel's failure to account for large sums of money. Ouch! Nigel wrote back telling Douglas to basically get stuffed. It is expected that the emails will be published after May 5th.

Let us not forget that Mr Denny was SE regional treasurer at the time that £211,000'vanished' from the South East accounts. A similar sum was later payed into Nigel's bank account. What a coincidence! Time to do the decent thing, Douglas, and report Nigel to the nearest Police Station!

UKIP demands withdrawal from Eurovision Song Contest

A bit of light relief!

The leader of the UK Independence Party, Nifel Garage, has called for the UK to withdraw from the annual Eurovision Song Contest. He called the contest "a joke, a ridiculous waste of tax-payers' money, and a perfect example of how not to run an election".

Mr Garage normally focuses his political attacks on the bureaucracy in Brussels and the governance of the EU. But as the yearly song contest approaches, he has decided to make this a key campaign issue.

"In future," he promised, "UKIP will urge the United Kingdom to withdraw from Eurovision. Let's be honest, we have one of the largest music industries in the world, we don't need to be part of this embarrassing talent contest. It's not even a showcase for musical talent or even a real contest. It's a pan-European parade of unknown freaks singing bland unoriginal crap, followed by an excruciatingly undemocratic voting segment in which people vote for their neighbours or whoever they are dependent on for gas supplies that year. And we waste millions on this rubbish every year. And nobody votes for us any more."

It is thought that UKIP's new stance on Eurovision might be one of the few areas in which the party may find popularity.

UKIP: Alex Benjamin

UKIP has a new press officer in Brussels , Alex Benjamin.

An ex-Tory, like Towler, Fuller, Sobey, and so many others that Farage relies on for his press support, Mr Benjamin is an interesting choice. He has not been so kind about UKIP in the past, and has even authored an article in which he is somewhat critical of UKIP's withdrawalist position.

Here are some highlights.

"There are so many positive things about the EU. The single market, free movement of people and labour, health, educational, business, human rights and environmental legislation that has made a real and significantly positive change to how we live our lives."

"It is genuinely exciting to be part of a new force in Brussels that seeks a pragmatic and sensible alternative to wholesale withdrawal as UKIP would have it"

"This is, in essence, what Europe should be about: talking to each other, working together and sharing experience and experiences together, rather like the Schuman vision all those years ago. This is a great thing and I’m firmly and proudly European in this sense and equally proud to be working to this end on a daily basis."

You can read the full text of the rabidly pro-EU Mr Benjamin's article here: http://www.openunionism.com/?p=106

So, Farage, could you please explain this?

Tuesday, 19 April 2011

UKIP can certainly pick em!

We note with amusement the disquiet felt by many UKIPPERS in the East Midlands following the 'selection' of UKIP’s Leicester mayoral candidate. Her name is Regine Amanda Anderson and she is rather shy!

We can confirm that many UKIPPERS in the East Midlands are extremely unhappy with this particular candidate. It has emerged that she is only 18 years of age and is still in full-time education. It has also emerged that the East Midlands Regional Committee was not even informed that she was standing. Nor was there an official interview/selection process for the position!

Her main sponsor is a certain Abhijit Pandya. Readers of this blog may recall that Mr Pandya has close links with Lord Pearson of Rannoch which ultimately led him to defect from the Conservative Party and join the UKIP in 2009. In the 2010 UKIP Leadership Contest he emerged as a prominent supporter of Nigel Farage, and was made Head of Research for the campaign. He is also leading Farage sycophant so don’t expect him to be too concerned about rooting out corruption in the party! For more on Mr Pandya: LINK

Ms Anderson is described by Leicester’s Returning Officer - in the official election booklet - as failing to provide an election address. She refuses to take part in hustings, declines to engage in electioneering, ignores requests for information from the press and refuses to give even basic details about her background. We can only assume that her youth and inexperience have both played a large part in this fiasco. Someone in UKIP’s bent leadership really needs to have a word with her about the basic rules of campaigning.

It may come as a surprise to her but the electorate of Leicester actually have a right to know a little bit about who they are voting for. Does she really expect the voters of Leicester to select a candidate that declines to list her policies or even her basic political beliefs? Or is she just too ashamed to admit to her friends that she is standing for UKIP? We can't really blame if that is the case. Would ANY right minded person want to be associated with a party that sits with racists and fascists in Farage's EFD group?

And we are not the only ones to be less than impressed with her:

From the Leicestershire Mercury:

Mayoral election: Have you seen this woman?

A young woman hoping to become the most powerful person in Leicester has left voters asking one question: Where is she?

Regine Anderson is standing to become the first directly elected mayor of the city as the UKIP candidate.

But the 18-year-old has not appeared at any of the hustings events so far, and party organisers have said she does not plan to attend any of them.

Nor did she join party leader Nigel Farage when he visited the city on Saturday.

The party has not released any information or details about the candidate, other than a single, passport-sized photograph.

June Wright, 56, an undecided voter from Hamilton who has attended three hustings events so far, said: "It's obvious that this individual is nothing more than a paper candidate.

"Other than representing UKIP in name only on the ballot paper, there's been no attempt to take part in the democratic process."

Attempts by the Mercury to contact Ms Anderson have been unsuccessful as the party has not returned calls or e-mails asking for her contact details.

One UKIP-supporting Twitter user said: "I found her on Facebook but she won't get back to me. It's all a bit strange."

During Mr Farage's visit on Saturday, the party's Leicester South by-election candidate, Abhijit Pandya, told the Mercury Ms Anderson was busy studying for her A-levels but would be releasing a statement this week

More on Mr Denby

We note that Farage’s sycophants – including Ray Finch – are trying to claim that GLW and this blog are being hypocritical over the treatment of Mr Denby. Once again, they spin in the desperate hope that their lies are believed.

We have highlighted a simple fact. ONE PHONE CALL from Nick Hogan – a convicted criminal – resulted in the immediate removal of Mr Denby as a candidate. UKIP’s rules and constitution were ignored. And what is even worse is that Mr Denby only found out about his removal after the local press contacted him! It seems that leaking the story to the media was more important to UKIP's dishonest leadership!

Contrast Mr Denby’s shabby treatment with Farage’s treatment of Godfrey Bloom. Bloom compares a black man to a baboon in the EU Parliament and yet not a peep from our Nigel!

Subject: Chorley Guardian article

Dear Colin

Just a short note to express my dismay as to how your good name and reputation have been sullied and defamed by the details in the article printed in last weeks Chorley Guardian.

I find it totally without credibility that someone like Mark Hogan, a convicted criminal who deliberately broke the law concerning smoking in his Public House, the Swan with two Knecks , and who has spent time in prison for that offence, has the audacity to label you as a racist. It is clear that Mr Hogan does not aspire to the highest standards of free speech and cannot demonstrate that his adherence to the law of the land is unequivocal. That he promotes his view of you being a racist via his membership of UKIP brings them into liability for allowing such defamation.

Having known you personally since I moved to Clayton Le Woods in 1977 and having had regular contact over the intervening years, there has not been one occasion whereby any comment made by you on any matter has caused me to believe you have any prejudice towards any class, creed or religious belief and you have always instilled in me the firm belief that as a civilised society, we must be tolerant of others beliefs, but that the evil extremism we now witness in the name of the Islamic religion being perpetrated against our race, our society and our beliefs is directly at variance with our core beliefs in accordance with the human rights act and the european convention on human rights, which guarantees, freedom of association, speech and religious beliefs, but does not grant terrorists the right to cause us harm.

You are and have always been to my mind a true Brit, who has served your country well in your military career and in civilian life done nothing but good works for the benefit of your fellow human beings.

I have sought out the meaning of “Defamation” which is below and I personally believe that not only Mr Hogan has defamed your good name, but that in repeating the allegations made by him in the Chorley Guardian, a vicarious liability for promulgating such slanders also lies with the Chorley Guardian. The effect of that article is certainly widespread as you have indicated it has been placed on to the internet for all to see, thus causing your good name and reputation as a fair minded and tolerant individual to be demeaned in the eyes the public and left you open to ridicule, hatred and contempt.

I would strongly urge you to take up this matter with the Chorley Guardian as they do carry some responsibility for what has occurred now in your life.

My solicitor is Stephen Evans at Birchall Blackburn in St Thomas’s Road, who may be able to assist you, possibly to claim damages if the impunity of your reputation is not revoked by the parties concerned and a public apology promulgated in the associated media.

There is a another issue which you may wish to draw to the attention of the Police. The effect of Mr Hogans defamation may be causing you to be or to feel harassed and there is specific protection against harassment under the provisions of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 which, if this matter has indeed been promulgated on to the internet and you are receiving messages of hate and criticism to make you feel harassed, could result in a criminal prosecution under the act, you should consult the police on this and provide evidence of harassment if this is occuring.

All the best for the future and I am looking forward to your next book.

UKIP's Annabelle Fuller: Farage's mistress back on the UKIP payroll as his 'assistant'

Members Assistants: Farage Nigel
Finch Raymond
Fuller Annabelle

To view the original: LINK

It has been revealed that Annabelle 'the tart without a heart' Fuller is back on the Farage payroll. She is currently being paid as an MEP's assistant along with 3 others. One is Steve Harris, who is undoubtedly a key man in UKIP, and one of the few trustworthy people to be found in Farage's company, one is Chris Adams.

What Farage's wife thinks about the whole new 'arrangement' is unprintable! We note that she is no longer listed as Nigel's assistant on the official EU website.

GLW has made the following interesting point: If lobbyists or PR companies such as Athena-PR receive money from ANY department of The EU as I read the rules, surely that precludes a member of their staff even a director from employment by The EU in any separate capacity yet we KNOW that Farage employed Athena-PR to promote and manage his leadership election.

Who is the fourth of Farage's assistants? This is where it gets interesting. Step Forward Ray Finch who shares his ISP address with a certain 'Skeptyk'. Mr Finch rather stupidly sent an email to an acquaintance of ours in his own name. A quick check revealed that the ISP matched the ISP of the pro-corruption, pro-Farage blog.

Draw your own conclusions!

Regional Organiser.

Dear Dr McGlade,

Re: Mr Colin Denby.

It is with deep regret that I have learned that Mr Denby has withdrawn his candidature as your representative for my home town of Chorley, for the forthcoming May elections. I have admired Colin's total dedication to your cause, stamina and genuine commitment. He is a gentleman of integrity, honesty and forthrightness, add would have been an ideal candidate to represent UKIP. He would have served the people of Chorley very well. He would have received my vote without any reservation or hesitation whatever, and that of countless others in Chorley who are crying our for a change of direction.

Colin would have been a "Beacon of Light and Hope", displaying the good and acceptable face of politics, something this country badly needs. I personally feel that UKIP and the people of Chorley have lost a great opportunity.

UKIP: Colin Denby Speaks out

Readers of this blog - and EUKIP v UKIP - will be aware that Colin Denby was removed as a UKIP candidate after allegedly making racist comments in a pub. That it took just one phone call from Nick Hogan to Farage to ensure Mr Denby's removal proves that UKIP is a dictatorship. Mr Denby was not even given the chance to defend himself. And yet, nothing is done when Bloom compares a black to an ape in the EU Parliament. Most strange! See: LINK

This is what Mr Denby has to say about his treatment at the hands of Farage and Hogan. Anyone thinking of voting UKIP on 5th should read on:

From: Colin Denby [mailto:REDACTED] Sent: Saturday, April 16, 2011 To: Greg Lance-Watkins Subject: Hogan & Co. my letter.

Ladies & Gentlemen of Chorley.

You may have read in various local newspapers recently, that whilst in The Parkers Arms, Park Road, Chorley, on the 4th. April (there to collect leaflets for the election, not drinking the night away). I allegedly used a word that is deemed Politically Incorrect and allegedly racist regarding the recent EDL, meeting in Blackburn.

For the past few days I have been pondering whether to take this matter further. After much deliberation and consultation (208 people have either telephoned me, e-mailed me, written to me or stopped me in the street, so far!) I have finally decided on the following:

To all the people in Chorley who have known me over many years locally, I rest my case and leave it to you to draw your own conclusions based on the facts!

To all the people in Chorley who know, or have had commercial dealings with or have read about Mr. Hogan in the last year or two, I rest my case and leave it to you to draw your own conclusions based on the facts! With regards to racial prejudice, when I stood as a PPC for UKIP in the General Election for Rochdale last May, as I was about to leave the stage in the early hours of the morning when, to my surprise, abuse was hurled at me by a group of Pakistani men. Cries of "go home white UKIP trash," "go home UKIP bastard," these words of endearment were repeated several times! Whilst this tirade was taking place, two Police Officers at the back of the hall did a smart about turn and vacated the room, leaving me to face the 'mob' which of course I did, with a perfectly clear conscience never having had any racist beliefs in my life from my early years in the Army to retirement and on to today! The powers that be at UKIP did not pursue the matter? At the time I wondered why ........ Now I believe I understand why!

Intrigued? ...... Then log onto http://ukip-vseukip.blogspot.com/

and http://juniusonukip.blogspot.com/ .......... you will be amazed at the facts presented all annotated and cross referenced and backed with proof. Telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and web sites are used to establish the reliable nature of the facts presented!

To all of you thinking of voting for UKIP on May 5th. ..... in the light of the facts you may wish to think again!

Colin Denby

We can confirm that many UKIPPERS are disgusted with Mr Denby's treatment at the hands of UKIP's bent leadership. Here is just one example:

From: REDACTED To: REDACTED Sent: REDACTED Subject: Re: Nick Hogan & UKIP

Colin, I have seen in the paper today that you have withdrawn your nomination for Chorley Candidate, And I am shocked and disturbed that you have been forced into this repast I have know you for a number of years now and have always found you to be forth right and honest.

You have strong opinions which many of your supporters agree with and never once would I have ever classed you as racist.

You have fought for this country and the freedom that it represents.

You have my sincerest support and hope you can use this endorsement in some way to repair the damage that "Nick Hogan" has achieved. Perhaps the UKIP Party should look more closely at him and his ties to other organisations which hold extreme views.

Also while there at it what about his criminal background as well - I always said all politicians were crooks and this just proves my Point!!

Best wishes

Dartmouth: EU Protectionist & Bannerman still seeking to return to the Tories

William Dartmouth is calling for taxpayer 'guarantees' for the EU investment bank, new EU legislation, development of 'more ambitious EU policies', and the setting up of an EU 'embassy' in Yemen. I guess we weren't supposed to know about all this, but you can find it all on his parliament website.

http://www.europarl.europa.eu/members/expert/alphaOrder/view.do?language=EN&id=96958

Now he has gone a step further. Dartmouth has authored a report, which will be voted on by MEPs in Strasbourg next month, on the subject of the EU's trade relationship with Pakistan. The report can best be described as 'EU protectionist', calling for tariffs to protect EU interests. It also pre-supposes that EU member states will have a 'harmonised' approach to trading with Pakistan.

Readers of the blog will be aware that Bannerman has been seeking a return to the Tory fold. See: LINK & LINK

He is now known to have been in negociations recently with the Conservative Party in the South West - he hopes to take the seat currently occupied by Giles Chichester, who is retiring in 2014. The question is, will the devoutly europhile William Dartmouth be crossing the floor with him?

More UKIP News

Stuart Wheeler fails to act

We can confirm that Stuart Wheeler had received correspondence asking him to investigate certain financial matters pertaining to UKIP.

The Ashford Call Centre scam , the disappearance of £211,000 from UKIP's South East's accounts, Farage's failure to audit his accounts and the disappearance of money from other regions were just some of the problems brought to Wheeler's attention by concerned members.

But Wheeler has DECLINED to investigate these matters. So much for being a new broom! That he is prepared to trust Farage with his money proves that Wheeler clearly hasn't got a clue when it comes to the duplicity of Farage and his greedy sycophants. Wheeler is an idiot who deserves to get fleeced - as he will - by the biggest con man since Fagin.

UKIP Lottery

And what wonderful prizes are on offer this time?

A £1000. A wet weekend in Cornwall. Glider lessons. Will Farage reenact his plane crash as part of the prize? And finally, signed copies of Nigel's novel which has failed to sell and is now being desperately given away to indifferent members.

Nick Hogan

GLW and this blog have been given some very interesting facts about Nick Hogan, UKIP secretary for Chorley. See: LINK. We are looking into it. More soon.

Justin Adams found guilty

We really can't understand why this case ever went to Crown Court. Justin Adams was clearly suffering from mental illness and should have received treatment at the nearest mental health clinic rather than be dragged into court. But at least the Judge in his summing up has acknowledged this.

What is sickening is the way Farage used the crash to promote the idea that he had been somehow 'saved' for some higher purpose. Such nonsense suggests to us that Nigel is also in serious need of psychiatric treatment. And the sooner he gets it the better!

From BBC News

A pilot has been convicted of threatening to kill UKIP leader Nigel Farage following a plane crash.

A jury found Justin Adams guilty of making five threats relating to Mr Farage and crash investigator Martin James after the accident in May 2010.

Oxford Crown Court heard a telephone call between a police handler and a man calling himself Justin Adams who claimed to have a 9mm pistol.

Adams, 46, of Faringdon, Oxfordshire, denied the five charges.

Both Mr Farage and Adams were injured in the light aircraft crash on 6 May, the day of the 2010 general election, after it nose-dived to the ground while towing a campaign banner in Northamptonshire. They were both taken to hospital.

Sentencing was adjourned until the week commencing 9 May.

'Extremely disturbed'

Remanding Adams in custody, Mr Justice Saunders said the defendant was "clearly extremely disturbed" at the time the offences happened.

He added: "He is a man who does need help. If I can find a way of giving him help I will."

Adams thought Mr Farage was "generating PR" from the crash Mr Farage said after the verdict: "From beginning to end, this is a very, very sad case indeed.

"It's been my belief all the way through that what Mr Adams needs is help and I don't really believe from our mental health services that he's received that."

The court heard Adams said he had received media offers to talk about the crash, but it had been suggested to him by Mr Farage that he should not speak until after the conclusion of the investigation in his favour.

He claimed friends later informed him Mr Farage was "generating PR as a result of the crash".

The court heard threats were intended to make those receiving them fear they would be carried out.

Within the conversation between the police call handler and the man calling himself Justin Adams in November last year, he was heard to say: "I know where they live, they destroyed my life."

'No other way'

He later added: "I now have a 9mm pistol, I've got the means - I will take them out and then myself."

Adams told the operator he had lost his livelihood, house, wife and child in the wake of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) investigation, the court heard.

Giving evidence in his defence, Adams told the jury that after the crash his mental health had been "rapidly spiralling downhill", as his business and personal relationship deteriorated.

He said he felt he was not receiving the help he needed and made the threats "in the belief and hope I would get put inside".

"I could see no other way," he said.

"I made a decision to make these threats purely to get assistance."

Colin Denby: More hypocrisy from UKIP’s corrupt leadership

Readers will recall that Colin Denby was removed as a UKIP candidate after allegedly making racist comments. See: LINK

It has emerged that Nick Hogan – UKIP Chorley Branch Secretary – contacted Farage to report Mr Denby. Mr Denby was immediately deselected as a UKIP candidate and suspended as a party member. So once again normal disciplinary procedures are thrown out of the window because Fuhrer Farage has spoken!

This is the man who happily sits with fascists, racists and homophobes in the EFD! And this is the man who refuses to act when one of his MEPs refers to a black man as a baboon! We suggest that any future dictionary reference to 'hypocrisy' should include ‘see Nigel Farage’ as part of the definition.

Mr Hogan, you claim to be outraged that someone is prepared to make racist remarks in a pub. And yet that ‘outrage’ is strangely lacking when it comes to Godfrey Bloom's rascism - Farage’s drinking partner, fellow MEP and flatmate. We wonder why? Worried about upsetting the Fuhrer and thus wrecking any prospects of a future career in UKIP? See: LINK

Pensioner withdraws from poll in racism row

A Chorley pensioner who has stood down from the May local elections after being accused of using racist language has denied the allegations. Colin Denby had been put forward as a UKIP candidate for the Labour held Chorley North East seat when voters go to the polls on May 5.

However, within hours of his name appearing on the nomination papers, the veteran soldier had quit the party over a row about racist language. It is believed he was suspended after an argument broke out at the Parker’s Arms, in Park Road, between the author and UKIP Chorley branch secretary Nick Hogan.

Mr Hogan, a former pub landlord, said he had been shocked by the language that the 72-year-old had used in a public place and he immediately contacted leader of the party, Nigel Farage to report him.

He said: “Colin Denby has been de-selected as a UKIP candidate for the local elections.

“The language he used is not representative of the values of the party - we are a libertarian and non-racist organisation and will not tolerate the use of racist language.”

It is alleged that Mr Denby, who stood in the General Election in Rochdale, had used the word ‘Paki’ in a heated debate with Mr Hogan and fellow party candidate Tommy Shorrock about EDL demonstrations.

But Mr Denby, who has written a novel based on his experiences with NATO intelligence circles in the early 1960s, denied the allegations.

He said: “I am a man of integrity and certainly not a racist. I believe Mr Hogan and I are incompatible and that is why I have withdrawn from the election.”

UKIP: Election costs

Good value for money? We think not!

Barnsley by-election

Spending for each party and cost per vote:

UKIP – £30,574.38 – Jane Collins, 2,953 votes = £10.35 per vote

British National Party – £3,845 – Enis Dalton, 1,463 votes = £2.63 per vote

And when you add the costs of the Oldham by-election (copied below) to the above you have proof positive that UKIP's latest sugar-daddy, Stuart Wheeler, is getting a very poor return for his money!!!

Another UKIP News Round Up

The NEC meeting

Mike Nattrass went to face the music. Jill Seymour was not there and nor was Farage. Jill claimed a prior appointment and Nigel was in court to give evidence at the trial of the pilot who is alleged to have threatened to kill him. See: LINK

The meeting was reasonably polite with Mike telling the nodding donkeys a few home truths about the EFD and their treatment of Nikki. He now awaits their judgement! More soon.

Martin Harvey’s UKIP Eastern Region meeting

Not much to report. 40 people attended. All elderly. Their combined age would take us back to the Iron Age! Robin Page - a surprise guest - spoke on population growth and farming. Gerard can't have been happy with that. He hates Robin. It's a long story! We note with amusement Martin Harvey’s claim that Nigel Farage can be ‘reformed’. He would have a better chance converting the Devil to Christianity! The naivety of some people is simply astounding! For more details: LINK

Stuart Wheeler throws down the gauntlet

Mr Wheeler – UKIP’s main donor- has made it quite clear that he will only donate £10,000 per MEP IF the MEP matches the amount. For less than £10,000 he will only put in 50% of the amount the MEP donates to UKIP. Ouch!

He clearly has doubts regarding the generosity of certain MEPs! Now just how much has Nigel donated to UKIP over the last few years?

This is what Mike Nattrass has said:

Do you know how much money Nigel has contributed to this party...next to nothing.See: LINK

More bad publicity for UKIP

Paul Clarke, UKIP Candidate, found guilty of breach of the public trust. He blames UKIP for forcing him to stand.

“This defendant is someone who never stood in an election before, he has no qualifications and isn’t the greatest reader as we have seen in the trial.”

We had no idea Nigel was there as well! And this comment could sadly apply to SO many of UKIP's candidates.

In a previous report, Mr Clarke blamed UKIP for putting pressure on him to stand:

He said he was pressed by local UKIP officials to let his name go forward as a candidate.

But he said no one in the party had alerted him that a suspended sentence was a bar to standing for election.

"Everyone knew of my conviction. Plenty of people from UKIP were at the Crown Court hearing. I wasn't trying to hide anything,"
he said. See: LINK

From Get Surrey

UKIP candidate 'breached the public trust'

A FORMER soldier who stood for election despite being disqualified from doing so has been accused of 'a serious breach of the public trust'.

At Guildford Crown Court on Friday (April 8) Paul Clarke, 28, was given a six-month community order, a three-month curfew and must pay £300 costs after failing to declare previous convictions on candidate papers for last year’s Reigate & Banstead Borough Council local elections.

In 2009 he was famously handed a 12-month suspended sentence after taking a discarded shotgun into a police station. He was backed during his trial by UK Independence Party members including party leader Nigel Farage.

Clarke stood as a UKIP candidate for his home village of Merstham, receiving 236 votes and finishing fourth out of five candidates.

Lionel Blackman, Clarke’s defence barrister, himself stood as a Lib Dem candidate for Esher during the last general election, coming second to Dominic Raab.

He said: “The defendant had no prospect of winning the election, that was made clear by the party chairman.

“This means the expense of having to hold a costly by-election to choose a new candidate was not likely to happen in this case.

“This defendant is someone who never stood in an election before, he has no qualifications and isn’t the greatest reader as we have seen in the trial.”

Mr Blackman added that his client suffers from a long-term back injury, which prevented him from working but has become heavily involved in part-time voluntary work for a charity.

However Judge Susan Matthews stressed that Clarke’s offence was considered a breach of the public trust.

She said: “You were proposing yourself to represent people in your community and asking them to impart their trust.

“I accept that your colleagues at UKIP knew about your previous convictions for possessing a shotgun.

“I am quite satisfied that you should be punished.”

Clarke, of Nailsworth Crescent, Merstham, denied one count of knowingly making a false statement on an electoral document

UKIP: That NEC meeting

Today’s NEC Meeting

Mike Nattrass has been summoned to the NEC to explain why he is not prepared to sit with assorted fascists, racist and homophobes on Farage’s EFD. Should prove interesting!

NEC member faces Room 101 after failing to follow Nigel's 'advice' regarding Mike and Nikki. Peter Reeve - on the right - waits with the cattle prod

Of course, UKIP is in a no win situation. Kick out Mike and they will have to kick out Trevor Colman and face a mass revolt in the South West.

Let Mike stay and Nikki can use their decision as an example of their bias and hostility towards her.

Steve Crowther – who was left to negotiate with Nikki over her possible return to UKIP – has really drawn the short straw. It soon became obvious that he didn’t have all the facts concerning Nikki’s decision to leave the EFD. And nor was he aware that Mike Nattrass had left the EFD! Who briefed him? Lisa Duffy's mum?

Farage, as usual, will get others to do his dirty work today. He can then blame the nodding donkeys on the NEC when it all goes tits up! And what bright spark suggested that Agnew and Clark should be there to pass judgment on Mike and Nikki?

Agnew and Clark. What a joke. Two discredited MEPs, both under investigation by OLAF for misusing their EU allowances! Their opinions are worthless. They shouldn't be allowed to pass judgement on anyone. They are tainted by the stink of corruption. But then again, so is the rest of the NEC!

Finally, here are some interesting comments from the British Democracy Forum on this very subject:

ex-member

Tomorrow's NEC Hopefully Steve Crowther has a lawyer at his elbow tomorrow and resists the efforts of Farage and Nuttall to push Crowther into the mess they are trying to offload onto him. No wonder Crowther is keen to bring back Nikki Sinclaire into full standing with the party.

Meanwhile Batten and AN other is coming under pressure to leave the Farage group which would finish him off. Stuart Wheeler is pressing for all MEPs to make a contribution to the party out of their recently increased salaries. If Nuttall and Farage keep playing games with Wheeler, he will chuck it.

charlie endell

Ha Ha ex-member! Farage will totally dominate the partially evolved idiots he has appointed to the NEC. But of course Farage himself is a Fecking Ijeet. He may find himself screaming for financial help to fight his legal nightmares - as usual

Richard Allen

The idiotic party leadership truly are in a complete mess on this issue. If they had any sense what so ever they would be looking for a face saving retreat but no doubt they will keep on digging.

Chorley UKIP candidate withdraws from election after allegations of racism. So what about Bloom?

Godfrey Bloom compares a black man to a baboon and Farage and his EFD colleagues remain silent. See: LINK

In the form of a contribution to the Conclusions of the European Council Meeting (24-25 March 2011), Bloom condemned the EU leaders - correctly - for their conduct towards Libya and Gaddafi, mentioning oil interests as one reason. He then stated that the EU had taken no interest in the affairs of Zimbabwe, which, incredibly, he said, was run, "by a homicidal baboon".

For clearly, after removing the word 'homicidal' this comment from Bloom cannot be taken any other way than a derogatory reference to a black man's physical features.

So do Bloom's colleagues agree with comparing a black man to a baboon? Yes or no? And if they do not, why no action?

Will Bloom face suspension from the party after making these remarks? He has clearly brought the party into disrepute.

Will the NEC at their next meeting on the 11th of April suspend Bloom and order a full investigation into his conduct? Any failure to do so must mean that they also agree with Bloom’s contempt for black people.

After all, can you imagine the outrage if Nick Griffin had said this!

We would URGE all our readers to contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission and demand that they take action against Bloom. They can be contacted at:LINK

Now compare the lack of action taken against Bloom with this......

From The Citizen

A CANDIDATE has withdrawn from upcoming council elections after claims he used innappropriate language’ in a Chorley pub.

Colin Denby, 72, who was set to represent the UK Independence Party, has withdrawn from the fight for Chorley North East ward in the May 5 ballot.

Mr Denby appeared on Chorley Council’s list of candidate nominations finalised on Monday, but just hours later withdrew after a disagreement, which took place in the
Parkers Arms, Chorley, in the early evening.

Mr Denby has now left the party. Nick Hogan, secretary of Chorley UKIP, who was present, along with other party candidates at the Parkers, said he had witnessed
‘language and behaviour which was not befitting of a candidate for the party’.

The allegations came after a group conversation about the recent Blackburn EDL demonstration and immigration.

He added:
“UKIP has very strong values on equality and freedom.”

Mr Denby, a former soldier, said
: “I have my views, but I’m certainly not racist. This was a jovial and private conversation.

"This country fought wars against tyranny to preserve freedom of speech and I intend to exercise it.”

To see the original: LINK

We trust that Nick Hogan will demand the removal of Godfrey Bloom because he also used "language and behaviour which was not befitting of a candidate for the party".

Any failure to do so must result in Mr Hogan being accused of hypocrisy.

UKIP: Bloom's racism exposed & questions for Gerard

Godfrey Bloom, on behalf of the EFD Group:

Mr President, I would like to go back to the matter of Libya if I may.

When did the political class and the great and the good suddenly catch up with the fact that Colonel Gaddafi is an evil man? When, since that wonderful photograph with you embracing him, Mr President, did you suddenly come to realise that he was a “wrong’un”?

I can tell you that the victims of Lockerbie in Scotland and the victims of IRA atrocities in my country knew very well what sort of scoundrel this man was. But he has got oil and he has got money so you all turned a blind eye, didn’t you?

Well, the chickens have come home to roost.

The most absurd figure in all this is the British Prime Minister, who stands there rattling his empty scabbard – having disestablished the Royal Navy, having disestablished the Royal Air Force – making threats from the sidelines, with no aircraft carriers, nothing, and calls himself a Conservative but is just a superannuated schoolboy whistling in the dark.

We talk a great deal about violence against the people, we talk a lot about democracy.

And yet we have had a homicidal baboon in Zimbabwe for years now, and we do not do anything about it, do we?

We do not care because there is no money and there is no oil.

That is so typical of this place: full of hypocrisy and humbug.

Questions for Gerard

Gerard Batten is due to attend an open UKIP meeting this Saturday in Hertfordshire.

We trust that Gerard will be asked why he is still prepared to sit in the racist EFD group when Mike, Nikki and Trevor are not.

We would also be interested in his opinions as to why no action has been taken by UKIP's NEC after it emerged that Agnew and Bannerman - the region's MEPs - were illegally paying Peter Reeve out of their EU allowances. Surely, their action has brought the party into disrepute as the story was featured in several newspapers and is clearly true as Agnew was caught on camera admitting it!. See: LINK

And finally, what will Gerard do to oppose Farage's desire to make UKIP part of a new pan-European party? See: LINK

UKIP: Bloom likens a black man to a baboon during a debate in the EU Parliament!

On Tuesday, in the EU Parliament UKIP's Godfrey Bloom MEP, made a most outrageous statement:

In the form of a contribution to the Conclusions of the European Council Meeting (24-25 March 2011), Bloom condemned the EU leaders - correctly - for their conduct towards Libya and Gaddafi, mentioning oil interests as one reason. He then stated that the EU had taken no interest in the affairs of Zimbabwe, which, incredibly, he said, was run, "by a homicidal baboon".

Imagine if someone from the BNP had stated this, the person who uttered it would have likely been arrested by now, for contravening the race relations act.

For clearly, after removing the word 'homicidal' this comment from Bloom cannot be taken any other way than a derogatory reference to a black man's physical features.

Now whatever one might think about Mugabe - to use such language against any black man is unforgivable! UKIP leader Nigel Farage, as a matter of urgency, should be asked whether he agrees with his colleague's insult, or whether he will condemn him for it by withdrawing the whip from Mr Bloom!

AE

UKIP: Sinclaire v Agnew on pan-European parties

So Agnew has been stupid enough to admit that as an MEP he - and his fellow EFD colleagues - are in it for the money, even if he does claim that it is to do 'God's work'. We had no idea that God had an Isle of Man bank account in the name of Nigel Farage!

He also made another gaffe. He went on record that 'we' do not accept the principle of European law. So that rules out Nigel's planned pan-European party getting any funding as you have to accept just that!

No what did Nigel say about Agnew?

“as thick as shit but he has money”.

Quite!

Here is the exchange between Nikki Sinclaire and Stuart Agnew during Tuesday's EP debate on pan-EU parties. We also include some excellent comments by Barbara Booker of the British Democracy Forum.

Aggers had claimed that legislation would allow the EU to influence future UK referendums on the transfer of power, but that this would backfire as it would also allow us to fund a referendum on UK withdrawal.

Nikki intervened with:

Sinclaire: would my colleague Mr Agnew agree with me that a political party that would accept funding under this legislation, as a single European party, and which in particular would have to observe the EU's programme and activities and the founding principles of European law, and the development of European law at all levels regionally, nationally and at European level,em> would be a party which has lost its principles? Would you agree with me, Mr Agnew?

Agnew: I say to Ms Sinclaire that we will take what we can out of this because we use the devil's money to do God's work. That is what we do, and well you know it.

Sinclaire: Will you accept the principle of European law though?

Agnew: No, of course we do not. That is why we are here.

For the original comments by Agnew and Sinclaire: LINK

This is what Barabara Booker had to say:

As observance of the principles on which the EU is founded, including the rule of law, is an essential condition of receiving pan-EU party funding, and Stuart Agnew speaking on behalf of the EFD has now gone on record stating that "we" do not accept the principle of European law, this must surely rule out any party that EFD members join from receiving that funding? The rules are very strict and I should have thought any such EFD party would be challenged, or even refused funding outright, unless it dissociates itself unequivocally from Agnew's statement.

That should go down well with UKIP members - if the party agrees to go pan-European -hearing that they certainly do now accept the principle of European law!

UKIP's Jane Collins

It seems that Jane Collins - UKIP’s former golden girl- has not been doing so well recently. She came fourth in Scunthorpe despite spending more money on her campaign than ANY of her rivals.

It now appears that Ms Collins has finally come to the conclusion that activists are more important than cash. It’s a pity she wasted some £10,000 to find out! Where does UKIP find these people?

Ms Collins is currently being touted as a possible successor to Godfrey Bloom in the next Euro elections. God Help Us! But at least she won’t get banned from hotels after urinating in the corridors like Bloomers. We hope!

From the Yorkshire Post:

Activists ‘count more than cash’

ACTIVISTS on the ground are more important than vast sums of money, according to the biggest-spending UK Independence Party (UKip) candidate.

Jane Collins trailed in fourth in Scunthorpe with just 1,686 votes, despite spending £10,072 during the campaign – more than any of her rivals. Labour held the seat with 14,640 votes despite a strong challenge from the Conservatives, who polled 12,091.

“I decided I wanted to put some money into the campaign,” said Ms Collins. “It was a bit of an experiment to see how it affected the result in Scunthorpe. But because of the determination to keep the Conservatives out and the determination of the Conservatives to get in – they made very big inroads – my campaign made very little difference.

“You can spend what you like but if you don’t door knock and get in touch with the people and create enough of a rapport with them to get the ball rolling, you can spend what you like but it won’t make any difference.”

Labour’s Nic Dakin, who won the seat with a majority of more than 2,500, spent just £6,957.36 – less than half that of Ms Collins.

Across 39 seats in the region, UKip spent £66,088.47 but failed to make a breakthrough.

Meanwhile candidates for the British National Party spent nearly £20,000 failing to make a breakthrough in the region – including £1,171 fighting against former Cabinet Minister Ed Balls in Morley and Outwood.
