FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE IS THERE NO ONE IN UKIP WITH A BRAIN?
Nigel Farage is going to be coming out in favour of AV - he will be arguing the case for it on Newsnight either today or soon after.
AV will get UKIP more votes but will not result in any won seats for UKIP.
UKIP will win NONE and the beneficiaries will be the Lib Dems and socialists and Britain will NEVER have a conservative or patriotic majority in Parliament ever again. Government will be like Italy and the EU - they will have won.
The worst thing about AV is that the lowest common denominator candidate may win. It is the worst of all worlds.
If a patriot supports AV either he doesn't understand AV or he is stupid. Or both.
If AV wins we can say goodbye to any hope of swinging the Commons to a NO vote against the EU if we have to go to 2015 or earlier if the Coalition breaks as it might - and we are getting there slowly yes, but movement is a good thing.
The EU wants us to have any form of PR because it creates confusions with no possibility of clear leadership, law and government.
UKIP is up the creek without a paddle on this one and I despise it. I wish I had not wasted years trying to make a party credible when the leadership has its head so far shoved up its own backside.

The Sun says no, The Mail says no, both say it’s too expensive. Labour mostly say no, conservatives say no and Clegg says he really wanted PR.
The point is that the machinery is in place for a referendum and the Irish “about turn” is proof that an EU referendum can be rigged.
To rig a referendum, first create a problem, or reinvent an old one.
THE VOTES FOR PRISONER’S BILL. An issue abhorrent to the British Public.
The idea of murderers and rapists being able to vote uses extreme examples to make the point, no mention of the prisoner who didn’t pay their TV license.
This issue was around when Cameron lost what should have been a walkover election. He had broken his cast iron promise and knew at this point that the EU membership issue would not go away without a referendum.
An assault on the Court of human rights is underway. Add in the sex offenders register issue to stir it up. I believe Cameron will manipulate anti EU feeling enough to justify adding an EU referendum onto the AV one, at the last moment.
Once the EU referendum is in place, Cameron will win his battle with the Court of Human Rights, and fight to keep EU membership.
CAMERON NEEDS A SNAP REFERENDUM. Lord Pearson recently asked for a cost analysis of EU membership. It was refused. When they were in power, Labour repeatedly refused such requests. The sums will not add up. The arguments for staying in will not bear lengthy scrutiny.

The strange thing is, if the Junius crowd were really ex UKIP'pers who wish to reform UKIP and make it better, they should at least think that UKIP get about 5% right. I mean even Anti-UKIP conservatives concede that UKIP get *some* things right. But not Junius. So therefore Junius is not anti - Farage or Anti - Nuttall, rather anti - UKIP.
