Junius visits Chichester

I can now reveal that I decided to secretly attend the UK Renewal meeting in Chichester.

As I could not take the risk of being recognised I donned my trusty disguise and jumped into my ‘Junius Air Mobile’ for the two hour trip to historic Chichester.

For company I took a few of my personal guard and my dog -we call her Annabelle.

Upon arriving in the town I did a bit of sightseeing - please see photos - before popping along to hear Petrina and her colleagues speak.

The meeting was most informative.

Here is GLW’s excellent report on the event:

The meeting in Chichester yesterday would seem to have gone very well with delegates from the South West Region, East Midlands, West Midlands, Eastern Region and the South West noted.

The earlier announcement that Bruce Lawson and Peter Cole would seem to have been rather poor draw cards and the fact that they had been declared persona non grata on trying to run and manage UKFirstParty in the same duplicitous manner that they would seem to have learned in their years in EUkip.

The announcement that Lawson & Cole had been banned from attending seems not to have reached several people I spoke to earlier today, who would have been there had they known and been able.

One advantage of the general consensus at the meeting, as a result of it only been those seeking liberty from The EU and no childish displays of self importance or jockeying for a position in line for the trough!

Swine flu? No I don't think so - more like a porcine greed & fever from 'absent *******'.

The members of this attractive south coast region were pleased to hear the ideas and suggestions of Craig Chapman, from Birmingham, of The Popular Alliance, who spoke most interestingly.

Chris Elliot, the number 2 candidate from The West Midlands Region for UKFirstParty was able to introduce himself and explain their reasoning for the importance of having a decent, honest candidate standing who is opposed to EU membership when EUkip in his region particularly they have been obscenely betrayed by EUkip and particularly the dishonest and duplicitous Derek Clark.

1. Petrina largely found herself as Chairman as Martin Haslam had felt it inappropriate to chair the meeting - let us face it that could have left him in the embarrassing position of chucking Peter Cole &/or Bruce Lawson out had they tried to 'gate crash'.

2. The now rather spent status as the EX Chairman of EUkip, having to some extent try to defend the indefensible!

3. The third hat was as a Council member of CIB, where she could inform people of what they are trying to achieve.

4. As the lead candidate in the South East standing for UKFirstParty Petrina Holdsworth was able to clear up a number of the misconceptions about UKFirstParty and present a view of their suggestions for the way forward.

One great advantage of having such a meeting, based upon a consensus of like minded people it is so much easier to manage a lively and very informative exchange of views.

There was no doubt from the questions that people reflected the general consensus of the British peoples that it is not just a general contempt for politicians and their corruption but a deep seated determination for change liberated from the centralised, undemocratic EU.

The clearest example of the utter hypocrisy of the politicians was obviously Nigel Farage's personal destruction of the moral authority of EUkip's leadership with a culture of greed and hypocrisy sheltered by duplicity and bullying. Many heard Farage on the media earlier in the day banging on the cheap shot of attacking MPs for abuse of their expenses without any joined up thinking!

It was interesting that Farage conveniently overlooked his own promises to publish his expenses and income - a promise he made when seeking election with Michael Holmes and ever since.

We await these published accounts detailing how he has squandered the money and has with others would seem to have trousered well in excess of £1,000,000 in little over 5 years - over and above the money MEPs are able to steal as outlined in the media articles showing they can EXPECT to make a personal profit saved of £1M during a single electoral term!

A measure of the extent of the corruption beyond the obvious is the utterly dishonest handling of other people's money as shown by Jeffrey Titford who although he has for some years employed Chris Hudson as his personal representative, amongst other functions - salaried from tax payers money which Titford was able to access through his election for EUkip.

It may interest you to know that it would seem that Titford's incompetence and disregard for duty and tax payer's money verges on the criminal. Titford has forgotten to give Chris Hudson any work for many months yet has been happy to permit his payment from the public purse!

Finally, seemingly in disgust, it would seem Chris Hudson tendered his resignation - Titford was too idle and indifferent to even acknowledge the resignation nor did he have the basic manners to thank him for the sterling work he had done!

I gather Chris Hudson has taken up a salaried position with Declan Ganley's Tory Light Libertas the pro EU new party for Ganley's ego. Good luck Chris and I hope your new job will suit you and will last beyond the election - though I regret I can not say the same for Declan Ganley's ego trip, the politics of which are so very dishonest or those in Libertas are very stupid!

Let us hope for a great deal more cross party co-operation in the future until we are free from the EU - I do not however believe there is any place for the lack of morality and ethics displayed by Bruce Lawson & Peter Cole - such behaviour as theirs is sooooo very EU that UKFirstParty will be immensely better off when they have the integrity to leave with good grace or are forced out after the elections, when they can join with Farage who has promised to resign when EUkip get 10 or less MEPs.

The meeting in Chichester ran on longer than expected as it was proving so constructive.Well done Ruth Shoebridge in booking this meeting as UK Reform on a cross party basis.

Why Graham Booth and Stuart Wheeler are not happy men!

Much was made of the fact that Stuart Wheeler had given £100,000 to UKIP.

I can reveal that this donation was made on the understanding that the money would be used solely to fund UKIP’s EU election campaign.

Mr Wheeler was less than impressed when told by Farage that ALL his money had been spent on staff wages and various bills.

Graham Booth was also rather miffed when Farage told him it had all been spent. Unbelievably he had actually expected Farage to hand over at least £10,000 of the jackpot to his old region.

Had all those years in Brussels and Strasburg told him nothing? Has it really taken until now for him to realise that Farage is in it for himself?

Silly man!

Of course, I don’t believe for one single minute that the money has disappeared into the black hole of Newton Abbot or even David Challice’s underpants fund.

I suggest that you all ask Nigel Farage just exactly how much he has spent in the South East.

You and, more importantly, the other UKIP regions might be quite surprised!

Another damning article on UKIP

Ukip set to struggle after 2004 poll success

Five years ago the United Kingdom Independence Party (Ukip) was a political force to be reckoned with but it is now rife with in-fighting and struggling to replicate its past successes.

By Simon Johnson
05 May 2009

Ukip gained 12 MEPs in the last European elections and a 16 per cent share of the vote, making it Britain's third largest party in Brussels.

But most political pundits think that was a high watermark and they have already lost three MEPs since their 2004 victory.

Within days of the election, it was revealed that Ukip MEP Ashley Mote was being investigated for benefit fraud. He was suspended from the party and was imprisoned for nine months.

Robert Kilroy-Silk, the former television presenter, made a bid to become party leader. He failed and was pushed out to lead a split-off party, called Veritas.

A third MEP, Tom Wise, was suspended after being investigated by EU anti-fraud watchdogs.

The knives are out for party leader, Nigel Farage, who has increased the party's national profile but has been accused of using it as his personal fiefdom.

The former One Man and His Dog presenter, Robin Page, announced his resignation from the party in March, claiming his former colleagues were "in the process of imploding".

Mr Farage has given himself little wriggle room by promising to resign if Ukip returns less than 10 MEPs next month.

"Quite clearly, if we do badly, then I've tried my hardest, and that's that. It will be time for someone else to do it," he told the blogger, Iain Dale.

End of article.

Another damning piece on UKIP. And who said all publicity is good publicity!

Last orders for Ind Dem & Nigel Farage

Farage's habitual tactic of accusing anybody who disagrees with him of being "BNP" is not new. In fact, it has in the past cost the party dearly.

Back in 2004, an out-of-court deal was reached after Farage's puppet, the odious and incompetent David Lott, and on and off press boy Mark Croucher suggested that Damian Hockney, then leader of the UKIP group on the London Assembly, was linked to the far-right party. Hockney threatened libel proceedings, and the Evening Standard (June 16, 2004) reported that he had been made an out of court offer.

Farage has, quite recently, received a solicitor's letter threatening action after he accused a member of his Brussels staff of leaking to the BNP.

As Godfrey Bloom launched a drunken assault on a young reporter in a Brussels bar, Farage could be heard shouting "He's BNP Godfrey!"

I promise you that the latter incident will be coming back to haunt the party very soon....

The drink was flowing, as per usual, last night in the up-market Brasserie Flo, in Strasbourg, as we gathered for the Ind Dem farewell dinner. The great leader was a little late, but he soon caught up. Unfortunately, the food was as dreadful as the racist and sexist jokes, and more than one guest slipped away before the meal was over.

All in all, a microcosm of Ind Dem's final days.

Why Godfrey Bloom is not fit to represent the people of Great Britain

I have never been impressed with Godfrey Bloom. The man is a drunk and a fool.

His inane comments about women, prostitution and his admission that he used to visit brothels in Hong Kong prove that he is a liability that UKIP would be better off dumping at the earliest opportunity.

He is frequently drunk and has even been filmed in Brussels making a speech while under the influence. See: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCICF7GKPFw

He was even arrested by Brussels Police. He farcically pleaded diplomatic immunity after telling the Police that he was a UKIP MEP! Fortunately for Bloom and his black 'companion' the Police later released them without charge and the matter never became public - until now!

He is employing Annabelle Fuller - who was sacked after placing John West’s MEP interview on You Tube - although he has been clever enough to make sure that she is paid via a third party. This is despite assurances from John Whittaker and others that she no-longer has anything to do with UKIP.

And let us not forget his 'fact finding trip' to India with Gawain Towler and a female member of his office staff. You know what I mean Godfrey!

But worst of all he was involved in a drunken fight with a certain Mr Koenig who is a journalist for the Independent. The paper in question is currently sitting on the story. I fully expect it to appear before June 4th.

The incident took place in O’Farrell’s bar in Brussels. During one of Bloom’s now frequent drinking sessions he suddenly took a dislike to Mr Koenig and attacked him.

He was egged on by an equally drunken Farage who kept chanting “He’s BNP Godfrey, he’s BNP Godfrey”.

Fortunately, Bloom was pulled off the journalist before any lasting damage could be done.

My readers may also interested to know that in September 2004 Bloom threatened to smash a class in Richard Corbett’s face after a row erupted in a Strasburg bar - Richard Corbett is currently the Labour MEP for Yorkshire and Humberside.

Is Bloom really the sort of MEP candidate you want representing the people of Yorkshire and Humberside?

Is Farage really the sort of MEP candidate you want representing the people of the South East?

Both men are a disgrace to the Euro-realist cause. Their drunken antics and childish behaviour clearly prove that they are not fit to represent the people of Great Britain.

Mark Croucher: UKIP’s resident legal spokesman

It appears that Mark Croucher -failed publican and serial liar - has been appointed UKIP’s unofficial spokesman on legal matters.

On the British Democracy Forum he has been trying desperately to promote the idea that various data protection complaints against UKIP have been rejected by the Information Commissioners Office.

Croucher, for reasons only known to himself, has neglected to give examples of how UKIP’s leadership has failed in it’s attempts to take legal action against various past and present UKIPPERS or supporters.

In the interests of fairness - and to save Croucher any further embarrassment - here are some of UKIP‘s most recent legal blunders:

Douglas Denny’s versus Greg Lance-Watkins. Complaint made to Police.

Complaint concerned Greg Lance-Watkin’s publication of email correspondence between Douglas Denny and Jonathan Arnott. Denny claimed this was a criminal breach of the Data Protection Act.

Complaint rejected by the Police. No further action.

UKIP versus Roger Knapman, Piers Merchant, Sir Richard Body, Dr Eric Edmond, Dr David Abbott, Del Young, Tim Congdon, Bruce Lawson and Martin Haslam. Complaint made by Paul Nuttall to New Scotand Yard.

Complaint concerned a letter that had been sent to various UKIP members. In this letter they were asked to vote against the proposed changes to UKIP’s constitution. UKIP’s leadership alleged that the party database had been used unlawfully. Nuttall claimed this was a criminal breach of the Data Protection Act.

Complaint rejected by the Police following interview with Roger Knapman. No further action.

Originally the odious Nuttall had gone to New Scotland Yard and demanded to speak to the ‘political unit’. Nuttall was rather embarrassed to be told that it did not exist!

Which brings me to ……

David Bannerman versus John West and various unnamed persons.

Complaint concerned John West’s alleged harassment, defamation and abuse of David Bannerman and other NEC members. Complaint also concerned ‘all those that have been engaged in these vile, selfish and disloyal attacks on the party’.

Last year David Bannerman sent John West the following email:

Dear Mr West,

Thank you. I believe you are referring to the confidential document supplied to NEC members only concerning a disciplinary submission against Dr Edmond ? Others have reported this document being shown around, and who by. As a breach of confidentiality can result in instant dismissal from the NEC under the Constitution, I am most grateful to you for your personal confirmation of this breach.

You are well aware of the libellous remarks you made against me, and which you have refused to apologise for ( your statement reproduced below, which was followed by other libellous remarks ). I have never claimed that you reported me to the police, though I understand you made a complaint against Stuart Gulleford and Jeffrey Titford to the Essex Police, which they have found to have no basis whatsoever. This is also referred to in your statement reproduced below.

Your constant harassment of NEC members and other party members, including myself with entirely false accusations of dishonesty, corruption and fraud, and on an almost daily basis, is totally unacceptable.

I therefore inform you that I am taking this matter directly to the Metropolitan Police´s political unit in an appointment next week, on grounds of criminal defamation and abuse, serious offences punishable under the Harassment Act 1997.

I will be asking the police at that meeting to investigate all those that have been engaged in these vile, selfish and disloyal attacks on the party. This a time when we should be preparing for essential elections next year, not being diverted by self-serving rants, and you have to question the motive. You yourself are ( currently ) a UKIP PPC and yet you regard it as acceptable to go to the Secretary General of the European Parliament to protest at my legitimate UKIP activities.

I have your e mail and this is also being supplied to the police.
I confirm I will be providing the police too with copies of all your other e mails, and with all the relevant e mails of Gregg Lance Watkins ( or is it Lance-Watkins or just Watkins ? ), amongst others. The police also have the power to require webhosts to reveal the e mail identity of contributors to such websites.

Yours Sincerely,

David Campbell Bannerman

Taken from GLW’s blog.

Bannerman went along to New Scotland Yard and demanded to speak to the ‘political unit’. He was told it did not exist - if only he had bothered to tell Nuttall!

Complaint rejected by Police. No further action.
