UKIP: Marta Andreasen & Stuart Agnew go native

Controversial MEP for Barcelona, Marta Andreason, has authored a rather interesting report for the European Parliament.

In this published "opinion", she discusses the current economic crisis, and speculates on ways to avoid such catastrophes in the future. Marta's solution? More EU laws.

Marta believes that establishment of new basis for supervision based on an EU framework, will "eliminate deficiencies that were exposed during the financial crisis".

Increasingly, some UKIP MEPs are now not only supporting, but actually calling for, new EU legislation.

Stuart Agnew is also going off at a tangent, and is particularly keen on the highly expensive taxpayer-funded farming subsidies that make the CAP such a burden. On his blog he regularly writes in support of subsidies, but with the proviso that they go to farmers like himself

&

Agnew is not very keen on subsidies for organic farmers, however, but then he is not an organic farmer himself of course.

The Common Agricultural Policy is anathema to UKIP's core policy of national sovereignty and withdrawal from the EU. That Agnew is allowed to behave in this hypocritical and selfish way is a disgrace.

Agnew was once famously described by Farage as being "as thick as sh*t but he has money". See: LINK

Agnew is currently the subject of an OLAF investigation - along with Bannerman and Reeve - after he admitted on video that he was illegally paying Peter Reeve - a UKIP RO - out of his EU allowances. See: LINK

Junius, it seems that you have decided to adopt the Sun's editorial policy of never letting the truth get in the way of a good story. Despite your fantasy to dress Marta Andreasen up as a saucy senorita (personally i think you overdid it with the fan but whatever floats your boat i suppose) I would like to address the fundamental weakness in this piece.

Yes Marta did author an opinion. However her original opinion bore no relation to that which you refer to. Not because she has 'gone native', but simply down to the parliamentary process. You see dear Junius there are these things called amendments. And these things called amendments can change a report or opinion in their entirety. Particularly if said opinion is anti-european and the majority of members in the Committee and Parliament are federalists. You may remember that something similar happened in the past couple of months with the maternity leave directive. It was unrecognisable from what it originally started out as and the original signitory had to vote aginst her report. It happens a lot you know. Well actually clearly you dont know.

So there it is, Marta has already disowned the report and has not gone native. Maybe it's not such a great headline but it is the truth. Unlike your piece."

Hi,

is it any wonder UKIP are treated as little more than a joke in The EU with staff like this clown Alex.

Do read what Junius said and try to understand it - though we do appreciate anything over a sentence long will be hard for some to follow as with Sun readers.

However when you write something it is rather a good idea to be both accurate AND intelligible but why not act like The Guardian and let mangled presentation and obfuscation hide the true purpose of your comment!

Did you have a point to make or was the aim just to look foolish in trying to smear Junius?

Indeed I'm sure there will be others like myself who on occasion read the drivel Marta Andreasen comes out with in her efforts to look clever - but do not forget that clever she isn't!

Marta Andreasen was suspended by The OECD and I gather fired - lied by omission in her application for a job at The EU.

Triers to pass herself off as a whistleblower - which was a style she gave herself when she was fired and lost her case in Court and then dishonestly obtained a seat as an MEP.

Let us not forget this utterly corrupt woman lied to obtain her present position and is pro EU and in favour of making c hanges NOT withdrawal as elected!

If you feel you have a worthwhile point to make do try but have an adult read it through to see if it is intelligible this time!

That Marta Andreasen has gone native and is spending much time ammending EU regulation in betrayal of the electorate was surely never at issue.

Do TRY to identify the error in The Junius report which provided quotes to substantiate its veracity as opposed to your rather confused apologia!
