UKIP: Election costs

Good value for money? We think not!

Barnsley by-election

Spending for each party and cost per vote:

UKIP – £30,574.38 – Jane Collins, 2,953 votes = £10.35 per vote

Cons – £14,051.99 – James Hockney, 1,999 votes = £7.03 per vote

Lib Dems – £6,437.50 – Dominic Carman, 1,012 votes = £6.36 per vote

British National Party – £3,845 – Enis Dalton, 1,463 votes = £2.63 per vote

And when you add the costs of the Oldham by-election (copied below) to the above you have proof positive that UKIP's latest sugar-daddy, Stuart Wheeler, is getting a very poor return for his money!!!
